Fall/Winter Fashion-Handbags!

I decided to switch up the Fall/Winter Fashion boots to handbags. I love handbags too among all the other things that I love. I have built up quite a collection from the last 2 years and because of that I haven't bought any new bags for a 1 whole year. Last month, I decided to treat myself to a new bag. This is my newest addition, it's the Coach Zoe handbag. All of the bags that I have from Coach are leather or patchwork, so I decided to get a signature bag this time. It's larger than it appears in the pics and very roomy and as with all Coach bags, they last a life time if you treat them right! I love saving money, so I try to find the best deals when shopping for bags- I purchased this one from the Coach factory. It was already marked off 50% at the outlet and I had a coupon for an additional 20%, it was a great bargain! Everyone has their particular items that they love to buy and handbags are one of my favorite things to purchase along with so many other things

What's in my Makeup Kit? New Monthly Feature

My poor little makeup kit, it's seen better days. I'm going to get a bigger one soon and lay old faithful to rest :) A good majority of my followers are makeup artists or aspiring makeup artists and part of the makeup I buy is for my makeup artistry kit, so... I thought it would be good to have a new monthly feature on " What's in my Kit?" Each month I will feature a few items that I use in my professional makeup artistry kit for clients. I hope this new feature will help makeup artists (aspiring and future artists) in their kit selections and hopefully it will aid them on finding out what products work and what doesn't work. The products that I use will also be great for makeup and beauty lovers! FOUNDATION Graftobian 18 neutral palette and 3 individual warm palettes. I thought it would be more cost effective to buy foundation palettes for my kit. A friend of mine who is a makeup artist referred Graftobian foundations to me. Their foundation pal

Garnier Nutritoniste Moisture Rescue Gel-Cream Review

As some of you may know, I've blogged about this moisturizer a few times and I absolutely love it. I've been promising a review on it, so here is the review... Product claims? The packaging claims that it locks in moisture for 24 hours, it's 100% oil free, non comodogenic-won't clog pores, allergy tested and non greasy. What is it made of? It's made with grape water extract (an antioxidant which defends skin from environmental aggressors) it's also made with vitamin E, which soothes and conditions skin. Pros -$6.99 at Target for 1.7 fl oz (I've paid double the amount for the same size with other moisturizers.) -Because it's a gel, it feels good on the skin-very refreshing. -Oil-free, which is great for oily people-like me. -After wearing it all day my skin is NEVER greasy when I wear this moisturizer. Cons -My only con is that I wish the jar was larger, I'm halfway through my jar... but since it's only $6.99 I'll take what I can g

Nicki Minaj Inspired Look of the Day

I love Nicki Minaj's colorful makeup. I attempted to do a Nicki Minaj look with her wearing the teal eyeshadow. I added the pink blush and the bubble gum pink lipstick that she usually wears and I also added some green contacts. The teal that I used wasn't an exact match but it was pretty and I had fun recreating this look. Pink Nouveau-One of Nicki's fave Mac lipsticks. PRODUCTS USED Eyes -Mac Painterly paint pot as an eye base -Mac Teal pigment on lid (I believe it's discontinued) -2 teal colors from my Coastal Scents 88 palette in crease -Mac NC45 Studio finish concealer as a highlight -Mac Saddle eyeshadow in crease -L'oreal Voluminous Curl mascara -Elf Waterproof eyeliner in black on upper lash line -Mac Power point pencil eye liner on lower lash line -Elf brow kit in medium -Fresh Look green colored contacts Face   -Black Opal Truly Topaz creme stick foundation -Elf pink passion blush   Lips   - Mac Pink Nouveau lipstick -Mac clea

Roulette Eyes of the Day and Paint Wheel Review

I bought this eyeshadow paint wheel a couple of months ago and I've been meaning to play with it and review it. You can find these paint wheels from a lot of makeup companies exclusively on the web. I bought the Roulette paint wheel for $14.50 (which is the cheapest that I've seen it) from  Bella Blue Cosmetics.   You get a fairly good amount of shadow in the wheels and they are packed with glitter. I've been playing around with it and trying to come up with some different looks, here is a simple eye look I did.    My thoughts, if you're going to buy these paint wheels you will definitely need an eye primer because these shadows are not pigmented on their own. I had to use a white base for the colors to even show on my eyes, that's why the red came out pink in the look because of the white eye base. Here is what the colors look like on their own: Colors swatched without a base.  Here is what the colors look like with a white base, you can see the diffe

Sigma Brushes Review & Sigma Affiliate Program

I've been making several purchases from Sigma because of all the good reviews that I've heard about them from You Tube and other beauty bloggers. I bought the Sigma Flat Top F80 kabuki and the large Shader brush a few months ago. Here are my thoughts.. F80 Flat Top Kabuki Brush Pros -This brush can be used for applying foundation (cream or liquid), applying blush and applying powder. -It works as a buffer and blending brush, which is great for foundation. -It's very dense and doesn't use that much product. -The bristles are soft and easy to clean. -Unlike a duo fibre brush, it doesn't streak when applying liquid foundation. Cons -It's a little on the short side, I do wish it was a bit longer. Overall, I im in LOVE with this brush! It has replaced all of my foundation brushes. The price ($16) is reasonable for it's many uses.  It's a Sigma exclusive brush, so it can only be purcashed from Sigma. This is definitely a must have brush for any ma

Lipgloss of the Month & New Product Review

This month's lipgloss of the month is something that I've stumbled upon by reading other beauty blogs. Two bloggers, Beauty and the Brown Girl  and Adventures in Makeup  both blogged about the new Wet n Wild Natural wear lip shimmers. Click on their links for more pics, swatches and reviews of the shimmers. Wet n Wild makeup brand has been around for a while but they've finally upped their game in the last few years. Anyway, while at my local Rite Aid -I picked up one of the shimmers and decided to try it and I'm impressed. I got the color Tart #101, which has an orange cap so I thought the color would be orange but it came out pink... it still looks good though :) Swatch The result! My thoughts... Another great creation from Wet n Wild, the price is very affordable for $1.99. It claims to be a lip balm but the color pay off is like lipstick! It's approved by the Natural Products Association and it's infused with vitamins and natural oils for opti
