Adore Me Lingerie Reveal + Review

Hey, Glamour Dolls!

A few posts ago, I did a introductory post on Adore Me lingerie. I was sent a beautiful set of lingerie of my choice for consideration. If you're interested in learning more about my experience with Adore Me, keep reading!

Online Presence

As mentioned in my previous Adore Me post, when you view their website- it prompts you to create an account and then you're prompted to take a quick quiz on your style and lingerie options. I found the website efficient and easy to navigate. I loved taking the quiz, it's always fun to find out what styles you like the most.

After the quiz is taken, you're sent an email notifying you that your showroom is ready. It took maybe a few hours for me to receive this email, your showroom lists all of the possible lingerie choices that you may like, which are based on your selections from your quiz.

Lingerie Choices

This is when I really fell in love with Adore Me, when you think of lingerie-immediately bras and underwear come to mind, but; they also have hoisery, chemises and babydolls that were included in my showroom. I love options, so; this was a major plus for me.

They have lingerie in all kinds of prints and patterns, they also have the standard basic nude, black and white lingerie... whether you're a no frills kinda girl to a glamazon, Adore Me will have some pieces that you will like :-)

I chose the set above, the leopard print bra and panty with the lace trimming. I had to get it, lace and leopard are two of my fave prints. I was skeptical because normally, I can fit a large size underwear but sometimes lingerie runs small, so; I chose to get an extra large size just to be on the safe side.

Checkout Process/ Shipping

No problems with the checkout process at all, everything was easy breezy. I was able to get the set delivered to my job with out any problems. I received confirmation that my order was placed and I received an email the same day that my item was shipped! I placed my order on Thursday, it came to my job on Saturday!!! Amazingly fast.

When I received the package it came carefully and neatly wrapped in a box with pretty pink wrapping paper. I also received a thank you card from the company for my selection. I thought that was a nice personal touch.

My Thoughts

I'm really impressed! I tried the lingerie on and the quality is really nice. The sizes of my set were true to size, the cups don't run small, gap or poke you. The bra I chose has some padding on it, I don't need any padding, but; I do like how the padding looks smooth under your clothes...it doesn't scream that I'm wearing a padded bra.

The underwear doesn't gap or bunch up, it also has enough elastic to stretch with you as you move about. I hate buying underwear that doesn't have enough elastic and it literally feels tight on your waist...it doesn't feel good at all.

Overall, Adore Me, is a winner in my book. I love that I get a personal selection of lingerie choices that I can shop from, the shipping is fast and the lingerie is great quality plus it takes the hassle out of shopping for lingerie in store.

If you love lingerie, be sure to check out Adore Me's website!

Disclosure: The lingerie set was sent to me for free and for my consideration. My thoughts will always be honest. I was not paid to write this post. For more information about this disclosure, please view my "Disclosure Policy" page.

How I Refurbished my Louis Vuitton Speedy...

I bought an authentic preloved Louis Vuitton Damier Speedy bag a few months back. While I was so excited to finally get the bag and wear it, I realized (at that time of buying and when I received it) that the bag had some wear on it that could use some fixing up. After searching online, I found a blogger,  Lollipuff , who posted an article on how to refurbish LV bags. Based on the recommendations in the post, I used the following products: Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, Blue Magic Metal Polish cream (tube) and Cadillac Boot and Shine leather conditioner. I also used laundry detergent and baby wipes. All of the products used can be used on any bag to spruce it up. Read on for the deets, to see how you can spruce up your handbag! Before At first glance, the bag had some sheen on the exterior. Most of the brass fixtures had green tarnishing (which happens with aging of brass). The leather handles were dull. The bag had lost some of its shape. The inside was the kicker! The red interi

Mac Face and Body Foundation Review

One of my most used foundations is the Mac Face and Body liquid foundation. I've been promising a  review on it, so here it is. Product Claims "A water-based, water-resistant foundation that provides long-lasting, natural coverage for face and/or body. Ideal for all skin types. Face and Body Foundation provides sheer, natural looking coverage in an easy to blend, water-resistant formula. The long-lasting formula is available in a wide range of colours and contains several emollients to help moisturize and condition the skin. It delivers professional looking results that meet the exacting standards of beauty photography and is ideal for perfecting the face and body." Pros -Price is $32.50 retail and about $19 if you're a Mac pro card member (That could be a con based on your finances). -For the price you pay it gives you a lot of foundation. It's in a 4 fl oz bottle. -Because it's water based it doesn't feel heavy, it feels very light on the face.

Creme of Nature Lemongrass and Rosemary Leave-In Conditioner Review

After promising myself to take better care of my hair, I read in a hair care magazine that if you have breakage or dry hair (like my hair) to consider purchasing a leave-in conditioner, since you don't have to rinse it out-the conditioner keeps on working and conditioning your hair. This was perfect for me because I'm really lazy when it comes to styling and taking care of my own hair... usually I look for products that are easy and quick to use. I do use Creme of Nature's Detangling shampoo, so I figured I would buy their leave-in conditioner. FYI- Creme of Nature is a brand that specializes in hair care products for women of color, who have natural or relaxed hair. They mostly use natural ingredients in their products, which they call "Certified Organic." Product Claims "Pamper your hair with this creme-based formula to soften, detangle, and provide the ultimate conditioning.  Perfect for color treated hair, organic  Lemongrass works to tone and hig
