My Fave Things of 2017! Fashion, Books, Hobbies, Beauty and More!

Hello Dolls, 2017 is coming to a rapid close, in just a few days! I've compiled a list of my favorite things that I've been loving all year. Read on, for the details! Fashion 1. Lilly's Kloset- Lilly's Kloset offers some of the most fashion forward clothing and accessories that I've bought within the year. My most trendiest clothing and shoes of 2017 have been purchased from Lilly’s Kloset. I bought the Multi Color Sequins Cardigan that I wrote about on a previous post from there.  Every time I think I’m going to do good and save some money this week, I get an email from her with a discount code. Did I mention I’m on her VIP email list?! 2. I love love love Forever 21 ! I can always get a  trendy, decent outfit for $25 or less, or more when I want to splurge. Their online sales are crazy, I know for at least four months straight, I was driving to the F21 store near me picking up packages that I had sent to the store. They're so addictive! I bo

What I Wear on a Night Out! OOTN

Hello, Dolls A night on the town is always fun! Like so many other people, a night out always causes me to ask myself " What am I going to wear?! " Mind you, my closet and drawers are full . . . so, a shortage of clothing is not the issue. What I really mean is " What am I going to wear that looks good; makes a statement, and everyone hasn't already seen me in?" After many attempts, I finally have at least one go-to staple that I wear when I'm going out. Read on, to find out the deets! My go-to OOTN Staples: 1. A jumpsuit - A jumpsuit is effortless, and instantly makes you look chic and stylishly pulled together. Since it's a one-piece, it takes the guess work and time out of trying to mix & match, and coordinate colors for tops and bottoms. Wearing a jumpsuit that is either asymmetrical, off the shoulder, has a hint of sheer or lace really glams up your outfit to make a statement; on it's own!  Another plus, is that jumpsuits

The Cardigan that Makes a Statement! OOTD

Hello, Dolls Every year, I obsess over one clothing item and buy tons of it just because I love it so much; even though, my room space and bank account says "don't do it!" Last year, it was coats. This year, it's cardigans; particularly the long cardigans. I love them because you can pair a basic top and bottom, and the cardigan pulls your outfit together, giving you a more polished, effortless appearance; especially if it has a pop of color. My favorite cardigan right now is the Multi Color Sequins Cardigan from Lilly's Kloset !!! I wore this to a concert last night and I absolutely love it! I kept the top, bottom, and jewelry simple because the cardigan was the statement piece! Outfit deets at the bottom! What I'm Wearing -Multi Color Sequins Cardigan from Lilly's Kloset -Black top from Forever 21 -Faux leather leggings from Ashley Stewart -Pumps from Payless -Jewelry from Fashion to Figure Every girl needs at least one item in th

Queen of Hearts Look of the Day!

Hello, Dolls I have been shopping from my makeup stash, (rediscovering products that I've had for a while, but don't use often) and I have fallen in love with the Coloured Raine: Queen of Hearts eyeshadow palette. The foil eyeshadows are so amazingly pigmented; and the shadows blend so effortlessly. I wondered why I haven't used it more. Most of the eyeshadows that I used in this look are from that palette. Here is a quick selfie pic of the look I did. Concert OOTD!

Hello Dolls, I attended a Trey Songz concert a week ago, the concert was everything!!! I'm a huge fan of Trey Songz; my sisters and I have to see him EVERY time he comes to town! I originally bought a black ruffle neck, off the shoulder jumpsuit to wear to the concert. It fitted smaller than I thought :-( At the very last minute, I had to wear something I already had. Below is what I put together! I originally meant for this post to be a look of the day, but, I wasn't able to get decent pics of my makeup like I wanted. Outfit and makeup deets at the bottom. Asymmetric Poncho OOTD! (Outfit of the Day)

Hello Dolls, In between shopping for makeup and beauty products, I'm (always) shopping for clothes! I can never get enough of clothes shopping; and putting outfits together. Today, I'm wearing one of my favorite go to pieces as of late. It's the Asymmetric-Hem Poncho. I really like ponchos, they give you enough room to move easily; and no one can tell if you've put on a few pounds because they flow and drape so nicely. The asymmetric-hem on this poncho gives it that extra dramatic flair without being over the top. I've dressed this poncho up by wearing it with a skirt and heels. Today, I chose to wear leggings with it to work; and a cami underneath. Outfit deets at the bottom! -Poncho: NENE by NeNe Leakes Asymmetric-Hem Poncho in slate green from HSN -Faux Leather leggings: Ashley Stewart -Gold beaded sandals: Rainbow Clothing -Jewelry: Vivi Jewelry, Avon and Fashion to Figure -Lipstick: Cranberry by Wink and Pout To never miss a post from me, subs

How to Unleash Your FIERCE as a Woman! (Book Review)

Hello Dolls, I'm switching gears on my blog for just a bit...I have been on a women's empowerment journey for myself for a while now. As most people, I have goals and a vision for myself of where I want to be spiritually, financially, and career-wise; but, I also have a plan of where I want to be mentally and emotionally as a woman. . . a better woman. Along this journey (which is never ending), I've had the opportunity to discover some amazing women and women's empowerment organizations. I have been following Taria Pritchett , a Women's Confidence Coach for at least six months now. I enjoy her newsletters, positive affirmations, and clarity worksheets. When she started announcing and promoting that she was coming out with her 1st book, I knew I had to have it! I couldn't wait to read further about her own journey to becoming a confident woman as well as glean any tips and suggestions she could offer. So, I was so honored that I had the awesome opportuni

B.O.M.B. Makeup Haul! (Black Owned Makeup Businesses)

Hello Dolls, I am back, after a long hiatus! Life has been life...unpredictable but enjoyable. Even though, I haven't been posting about my latest beauty musings, I still keep up with the beauty world. Here's a small collection of some of the things that I've purchased. As I was purchasing, I realized that all of the products that I bought are all from black owned makeup businesses! Most of them I found out about on Instagram or from recommendations. If you didn't know, I'm a beauty and product junkie, and I will pretty much buy from anyone as long as I like the product, have a use for it, and if it's a decent price; but, I especially love to support black businesses, especially since there can be a shortage of them; and they often discontinue service for one reason or another. Read on for the details.  The goods! G.L.A.M. Mink Lashes by Samantha Ann (God's Love Abled Me) My love of lashes has grown and I kept hearing so much hype about Mink
