Cowboy Carter Chic 🤠

Hello Dolls, Summer is here! It's one of my favorite times of the year, because I actually have more of a social life when the weather is warmer. I have been working non-stop and saving up for a special event, so my social activities have been limited this year. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to see Beyonce' though! So many people raved about the Renaissance tour, so I didn't want to miss out on her next tour. Thankfully, I was able to get a ticket from Seat Geek for $107 the week before the concert!  My friends that let me tag along with them, they helped me out so much that night I'm so glad that I did, because I absolutely enjoyed myself. She puts on an amazing show! Her voice sounds the same as it does on the radio. Her visuals, costumes and team of dancers were incredible. Seeing Blue Ivy doing her thing and seeing Rumi just being Rumi put the icing on the cake. I thought I was going to hear her perform songs from the Cowboy Carter album for the entire nigh...

  Hi Dolls,  Spring is officially here!🎕I'm so happy to finally experience the warmer weather in my area. I'm looking forward to lighter clothing, outdoor events, pastel pedicures and longer days! How I doubled my Reading Goal last year!

Hi Dolls, Reading is my favorite hobby. It's the perfect mental escape for me. I was able to double my reading goal last year, from 30 books to 60.  Thanks to Goodreads for keeping score of my reading goal! Life took over, but I'm finally returning to normal

Hey Dolls Hey, I hope life has been treating you all well in this new year, and if it's not, I sincerely hope it gets better. Life has been life-ing for me. I've been dealing with care giving, getting older, slowing down and coping with grief over the last few months. I find that as I'm getting older, my mental bandwidth can be fragile.  When I feel like that, I know that it's necessary to pause and take a break from the things that I can take a pause from. That's where my mindset has been for these few months...pausing, reflecting, healing and evolving. Even though, January was one of the longest months ever, I'm starting to feel like myself again, and I'm excited to start blogging again.  I want to thank you all wholeheartedly for sticking around, it is truly appreciated. 💕 xoxo, Gab 💋🌟

Well-Being ~ My Favorite form of Exercise

  I’m almost six months in to my recommitted healthy lifestyle journey. In that time, I've been making a consistent effort to stay active. Walking has been my exercise of choice.  I enjoy a calorie burning cardio walk, but when I'm unable to do that, I make sure to at least do a brisk walk regularly.  Walking has  so many benefits.  It improves my mood, gives me clarity, burns calories and improves my stamina. It ha s really helped me physically and mentally.  I’ve come to view my walking time as not only exercise, but also therapeutic "me time."   What's your favorite form of exercise?

Summer Fashion Loading! 🌞

I’m doing a summer wardrobe refresh and I have a mental list of the items I want to buy. Two piece sets are on the list. I just love how effortlessly stylish they can be.
