DC Bloggers Takeover + Meetup!

Hi Dolls,  I attended my first DC Bloggers event last weekend! Even after 15 years of blogging, I still get nervous walking into creator events, (anxiety and apprehension takes over) but the energy there was everything. It was a fun, welcoming vibe, and I loved connecting with some amazing bloggers and finally meeting a few of my fave IG friends in real life. Overall, it  was such a success! 👏🏽Connecting with fellow creators, sharing insights, and discovering new retailers made it such a memorable experience.  This event reminded me why I love creating, and it reignited my commitment to stay consistent and intentional with my content for the rest of the year (and beyond). 💫 If you’re in the DMV area, make sure to check out  Tanger Outlets National Harbor , there’s truly something for everyone, from fashion to beauty and home finds.  ️A huge thank you to   DC Bloggers ,   Tanger Outlets National Harbor ,   Sephora ,   Puma ,   ...

My Trip to Croatia, Europe: (Part III of III) Plitvice Lakes National Park

Hi Dolls, One of my most memorable tours in Croatia was visiting  Plitvice Lakes National Park . The beauty to behold in this park was something I’ve never experienced before, it was unforgettable and completely captivating. The serenity and beauty of the lakes and waterfalls left me in awe. It won’t just be remembered for its beauty, it’ll also be remembered for testing my physical endurance. The tour involved steps, hiking up and down inclines and declines. There are lower and upper lakes, each tour was an hour and a half of walking. I got 17,000 steps that day. Thankfully, I was able to walk at my own pace and our tour guide was very patient. Would I do it again?  Absolutely!   If you’re ever in Croatia, this is a  must-see  that’s worth every step and every cent.

Wine not make it a night to remember? (DC Wine Fest-Fall Edition)

DC Wine Fest is becoming a yearly tradition for me! A few weeks ago, I discovered some amazing new wines and I even purchased a few bottles to take home. It was a night full of endless laughs… and endless sips.  This wine was really good, it reminds me of a smoother version of XXL If you’re a wine enthusiast who loves unlimited pours, check out the Spring edition on April 25, 2026. Tickets can be purchased at DC Wine Fest .

My Trip to Croatia, Europe: (Part II of III) Selfie Museum Fun!

Hi Dolls, A lot of my experiences in Croatia were planned, but there were some experiences that took us by surprise. Our hotel was conveniently located near the City Center, surrounded by a variety of attractions, restaurants, and shops. While sightseeing, we stumbled upon unexpected adventures, which, for me, is one of the best parts of travel... the thrill of discovering the new and unknown. Leave it to me to stumble upon a selfie museum in Zagreb. I hate taking face selfies, but I love a selfie museum; my Instagram feed proves it.   For just 8€ ($9), I had to go in and visit! Selfie Museum Zagreb was a fun little surprise with some cute installations. I usually plan an outfit for spots like this, but I was swollen for most of the trip, so comfort trumped style. That said, my $10 Walmart dress and Birkenstocks still understood the assignment  If you’re ever in Zagreb, definitely check it out — it’s a fun, quirky stop that’s worth the visit! I included a few pics...

World Mental Health Day: Spreading Awareness and Support 💚

Hi Dolls, World Mental Health Day   was on October 10th. I shared a post about it on Instagram that day, but since this topic is so close to my heart, I want to make sure the message reaches all of my platforms. Mental health matters — every single day. Since the pandemic, I've noticed that my mental bandwidth was beginning to become fragile. I've been working on increasing my resilience and coping skills. I've made a list of things that I like to do when when I have those moments. I've also identified my happy places that help me feel safe.   We all need a place that grounds us.  The ocean is that place for me. It's my calm and my reset.   It’s truly humbling and fills me with awe. There’s something about watching the ocean that brings my problems into perspective  If you’re like me, and you feel overwhelmed at times, please know you’re not alone. Healing takes time. Rest is essential. Talking helps.  Take time for yourself. Check in on yo...
