The Makeup Show NYC 2013 Pics & Haul!

Hey, Glamour Dolls! I know I'm a little late but The Makeup Show was lots of fun, I had so much fun in NYC that weekend. I took a few workshops, met some great people and bought a few things. Here are the pics. I met... I finally met makeup mogul and entrepreneur, AJ Crimson! I've been loving his products for years now, especially his glosses. AJ featured his new BB cream and cream foundations at the show. He and his team were personally matching people up at the show...my friend, pictured; was able to get her face personally matched up by AJ, such a treat! He was so nice and sincere. I also met up with Shana from Shana Janelle On (Shana and I met last year, it's always good to see her, she's very down to earth). Shana was working at the Face Atelier booth for both days, it was nonstop busy. I know she was tired but she looked good though!  I've been following Alexandra Butler's work on every social networking site there is, I absolu...

Beauty Loves of 2012

Hey, Glamour Dolls I've loved a lot of products within the year, some you all have heard me blog about a lot, others not so much. Here are a few products that stayed in my makeup bag all year. 1. Mac Select Cover Up concealer NC44 -This concealer is liquid form and is good for covering up blemishes and dark circles. It provides a medium coverage, often times I only wore this concealer with powder because the coverage is very comparable to foundation. What I love the most, is it provides a "my skin but better" finish; never cakey or mask like. 2. Maybelline Fit Me foundation 320 - I didn't readily jump on this product when it first came out, but; since I'm a coupon queen & I received a $2 off coupon for this, I went out and bought it. I didn't wear foundation much this past year, but; when I did-I wore this foundation. It has excellent airbrush like coverage, it lasts all day and despite some of the reviews-it didn't make my skin oily. It h...

Update & My Current Beauty Faves

Hey, Glamour Dolls! How are you all?! Long time no post...it feels good to finally write something on here. What's been going on with me? Just life. I've been busy and focused on a few things; which has been leaving me drained and given me a lack of desire to do anything else. Things have been all work and no play for a while and I'm finally getting my balance back again (sigh of relief!). Thankfully, I go on vacation in a few weeks. I hope to write a few more posts before I leave :-) As far as beauty news, I have been using products in my own stash-I have bought a few things here and there and I did purchase a big haul from a Mac Pro class I took the beginning of October (more about that in another post). Here are some of my faves that I've been using constantly using since the last time I posted. KISSABLE COUTURE GLOSSES I bought these glosses at The Makeup Show back in May and I've been loving them every since. The glosses are really long wea...

The Makeup Show NYC: The Haul!

Part of the excitement of makeup trade shows are the products, this year, I picked up quite a few things. I made a list of everything that I wanted, but; you know how that works...you always end up getting a few extras that weren't on your list. Let me just say I love makeup (as you already know), so; I was extremely excited about EVERYTHING I purchased...let me warn you that I overuse the word excited in this post way to much. This show was like a buffet of makeup and of course I had to overindulge! I know I didn't need half of the stuff I bought but it was the thrill of it all! INGLOT Inglot was my first stop at TMS. They had a 30% off discount the same as they did last year at IMATS. They debuted some new body pigments, I passed on those since I already have so many pigments. I bought a small palette this time, consisting of four colors, last year I bought my 10 pan Inglot palette and I bought all shimmers in a rush...this time I took my time and bought all matte...
