My Travel Essentials!

Hello, Dolls The warmer weather is finally here! I, like many others, like to travel more when the weather is warmer. I've compiled an updated list of travel essentials that I take with me on trips. I did a post like this three years ago, and some of the items I took were just unnecessary. As I travel more, and as I get older, I use a more minimalist approach to packing. Below you'll find my current travel essentials! White Noise App Little known fact about me, I've been sleeping with the White Noise App for years now. I have insomnia, and the White Noise app plays a variety of relaxing sounds to help you fall asleep faster. I have the app installed on my phone and Ipad, and literally can not sleep without it. My favorite sound is the Stream Water Flowing sound. White Noise also allows you to mix sounds to create a custom sound. On my Ipad (pictured), it mixes Stream Water Flowing and Thunder to create a unique, relaxing mix. Perfume Roller balls Instead...

Beauty and Lifestyle Travel Essentials

Traveling creates opportunities to pack just enough of your essentials or either over pack. When it comes to beauty and lifestyle items, I tend to lean on the over packing side because I love having options to chose from. Here are a few of my must-have essentials that I pack for all of my trips (except weekend getaways). I guess you could also file these under the "if you're ever stranded on a desert island, what would you have to have" category. Clarisonic Mia 2  Nothing is as good as washing and exfoliating my face as my Clarisonic Mia 2. I love it! My face feels the difference every time I wash, it gives a deep but gentle clean, removes every trace of makeup and leaves my skin soft and radiant. My Mia 2 has been kicking for years and it's on it's last leg, so; I upgraded to the Mia 3. Baby Wipes  I've been using baby wipes for years to remove my makeup. They are less inexpensive than makeup wipes and you get more for your money. I can easily ge...

Top 5 Faves of 2014 (Skin, Hair and Makeup)

Hey Glamour Dolls! Can't believe there are only two weeks left in the year! These are my top five products that I've consistently used throughout the year and I've repurchased over and over again. Read on, and I"ll tell you why I love them. 1. Mac Studio Moisture Cream Moisturizer I originally bought this moisturizer in a travel sized version to sample. The cream is light weight and very moisture rich. It gives my skin a nice radiance and leaves my skin supple. It works wonders in the Fall/Winter months because my skin drinks up moisturizer in the cooler months. I've used other moisturizers and I would put it on and you couldn't tell that I put anything on thirty minutes later; with this moisturizer, it stays on longer. I liked it so much that I went on and bought the full size version. 2. Clarisionic Skin Care System The Clarisonic skin care system is a must-have holy grail product for me! I have blemished, acne prone skin and I can ...

Sephora Skin Care Haul...

I made a goal this year (as I do every year) to take better care of my skin. I bought a few things from Sephora online, read on for the deets.  Clarisonic - The Clarisonic has been on my wish list for at least a year. I finally buckled down and purchased one. I bought the Clarisonic Mia, which is the most inexpensive one ($119) in the Clarisonic family. It comes with the sensitive brush head, charger, instruction manaul and a 1 oz cleanser. I have been using this for almost a week & I'm so in love with this little thing...I will save all of my wonderful comments about it for the review.  I will be doing a full review after I used it for a while. I could have went to the local Sephora to purchase the Clarisonic but they don't always give me the VIB points, so; I bought it online...the more points you get, the more free items & samples you get. Origins Clay Mask - This was the item that I got for free for reaching over 100 points. I could h...
