Mac Surf Baby Mini Haul!

I think the packaging is so cute! As much as I love Mac and would love to buy something from all of their collections, I'm just not able to do it all the time, but; I have always loved their Summer collections and since I didn't get anything from last year's To the Beach collection- I couldn't pass up on Surf Baby! I bought the My Paradise cheek powder, Sun Blonde eyeshadow and the Hibiscus lipstick. MY PARADISE CHEEK POWDER I had to get this, the color is so beautiful and I don't have a coral blush in my collection so this was a must- have for me. The gold overspray is a bit different for me, after swatching it, I'll probably won't use it. I could barely see the cheek powder and gold overspray when I mixed them together, I doubt I'll be using them both together. I love the coral color by itself. It's so gorgeous, I've seen it swatched on all complexions and it's very flattering for every skin tone. UPDATE: After trying the blus

Victoria's Secret Garden Haul

I'm a sucker for smell good... it can be lotions, body sprays, perfume, candles- anything that has a nice scent I have to have it! I hadn't bought any body care products from Victoria's Secret in ages, I fell back in love with their scents when I went to their store, it didn't help that they had a buy 7 for $35 and get the 8th item for free sale. Of course, I had to get them. I bought my fave scent Love Spell and I bought 6 of their other newer scents (I picked up some undies too but I'm not revealing them here :) I know the lotions look small in the pics but they're actually 8.4 fl oz... it's a generous size for the price. Mango Temptation, Exotic Bloom, Island Breeze and Pure Seduction Mango Temptation (my new fave!) has notes of mango-nectar and hibiscus. Exotic Bloom is made with coconut orchid and musk. Island Breeze is made with ocean beeze and pineapple! Pure Seduction is one of the sronger scents made with casaba melon, plum and frees

I've been (Lip Stick) Tagged!

This is my very first tag since blogging- Alicia from Gloss and Sticks tagged me... She has an amazing beauty blog that features her beautiful face of the days. Please check out her blog when you get the opportunity! 1. When you were a child, did you use your mother's lipsticks? No, I didn't. I really wasn't in to makeup when I was little. Contrary to what people think, I wasn't one of these little girls that had the play makeup sets. I would always watch my mother apply makeup and I remember it was always calming to watch her apply it and the colors always intrigued me. I played with her nail polish more than I did makeup. 2. How old were you when you bought your first lipstick? I was 18 when I bought my first lipstick. It was "O" by Mac. I'm ashamed that I still have it. I had a love-hate relationship with lipstick and didn't wear it for the longest time. It didn't matter what the color was, I didn't think it looked good on me. As yo

Makeup Forever's HD foundation is another foundation that I frequently wear. I promised a review on this foundation (I know it's late) so here it is... Product Claims "An oil-free medium-to-full-coverage liquid foundation that covers skin imperfections flawlessly while remaining invisible on-screen and in real life. This foundation creates a soft-focus effect, which is designed to meet the coverage concerns of those in the spotlight. Pros   - It leaves skin beautifully flawless! -Great for photography, (no white haze) especially great for weddings, photo shoots or tv production. -Available in 25 shades. -Available in a variety of undertones including: olive, beige, pink and yellow. -It feels very light on your face. -A little goes a long way. -Light to medium coverage. -No harsh lines,  this is good if you forget to blend past the perimeter of your face.

IMATS: The Haul (Pic Heavy) Part II

I'm back with Part II of my IMATS experience. Although I was very excited about Inglot and OCC, I did purchase some other items. Here they are... MISS ADORO LASHES I intended on purchasing some lashes at the show. I heard that at the Los Angelas IMATS last year, the Miss Adoro lashes were $1, so I was excited when I saw them at IMATS. They were 12 for $24, which is $2 for each pair. I've learned that is better to buy lashes in bulk than paying almost $5 for them individually. I really like the different styles and lengths of these lashes, they're comparable to Red Cherry lashes. I had a set of 12 but my mother wanted to try 1 pair :) Good thing we bought these early on in the day on Saturday because they sold out by the end of the day. NIGEL'S BEAUTY EMPORIUM My next stop was Nigel's Beauty Emporium , they have all kinds of makeup tools and supplies for personal use and for using in your professional makeup kit. I hadn't planned on buying an
