A Day in NYC- Blue and Brown Look

A few weeks ago I went to Soho, New York with a few friends for a Natural Hair Show. I wanted to do a simple look but I also wanted to wear some lipstick, I normally just wear gloss. I was in the mood to wear one of my fall shade lipsticks...and this is the look that I ended up creating! The products I used are pictured below... FACE -Mac Oil Control Lotion -Mac NC45 Studio Finish Concealer -Mac Studio Fix Powder in C6 -Elf Candid Coral Blush on cheeks -Elf Peachy Keen blush on apples of my cheeks EYES -Mac Rubenesque (golden- peach with gold pearl) paintpot as a base -Cover Girl Crystal Waters eye enhancers quad (2 blue shadows in the quad, on my lid) -Make Up For Ever eyeshadow in Expresso 17 (matte chocolate brown) -Mac NC45 Stuido Finish Concealer as a highlight on my brow bone area -Mac Engraved Powerpoint pencil as eyeliner -Sephora Mascara in Black -Elf Brow Kit in Medium LIPS -Mac Currant lip liner -Mac Desire lipstick  

Look of the Day-Green and Brown

GREEN AND BROWN I did this look last week. I was inspired by my green blouse. Green is my favorite color to use when doing eyeshadow (especially an all green look) because it layers so beautifully and you can always see how each green color blends into the other green color seamlessly. I used 4 shadows all together. I did a bit of experimenting with contouring and this was my first time using 2 shades of foundation to combat my two-tone skin, which turned out nice, surprisingly. My brows need to be done again, so excuse how they look. I didn't do any close up pics because of acne breakouts, (still struggling with adult acne) agrrh!  Products Used What I used: -Mac Oil Control Lotion -Mac Face and Body Foundation in C6 on inner part of my face (my skin is 2 different shades) -Mac Face and Body Foundation in C7 on outter part of my face -Mac Blotting Powder in Dark -Mac Format Blush to contour nose and cheeks -Elf brow kit in Medium -Mac Rubenesque (g...
