Summer Fashion Loading! 🌞

I’m doing a summer wardrobe refresh and I have a mental list of the items I want to buy. Two piece sets are on the list. I just love how effortlessly stylish they can be. I think they’re a good choice to wear to dressy and even casual outings.  ⁣I slept on Amazon fashion for a while, but a friend turned me on to their clothing.  The set I'm wearing is linked on my Amazon storefront, and the entire outfit is linked on my Liketoknow.it  shop. Both links are at the top of my home page. ⁣ ⁣ What I'm Wearing :  Two piece set + Necklace: Amazon ⁣ Heels + Bag: Shein What's on your summer wardrobe wish list? ⁣

Blazer Obsessed! 🤎

I’ve been loving blazers more. It’s the essential piece to pull almost any look together, and they’re a great layering piece. Since I’ve been watching old episodes of Murder She Wrote, 😆I love to add a brooch to them. She always wore a brooch with her blazers. ⁣ ⁣ ✨Here are three blazer styles that I think would be a great addition to any wardrobe: ⁣ ⁣ •Structured Blazer- for the tailored, chic look⁣ •Boyfriend Blazer- loose fitting and forgiving, especially for weight gain⁣ •Colorful Blazer-adds pop of color to outfits ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ What I'm wearing: Blazer: Shein Curve (sold out) ⁣ Pants: Fashion Nova Curve (sold out) ⁣ Flats: Amazon  Amazon  What's your favorite type of blazer?

Jump into Style without Jumping Out of Budget OOTD!

Hi Dolls,  Like most people, I like to save money when I can; especially when it comes to clothing. I always want to go with the option that makes my money go farther, which is why I love bargain stores. One of my favorite bargain stores is Roses Discount Store because you can find all kinds of things for your home, furniture, snacks, and even clothing. I've been wearing their clothing for years; they have affordable, trendy clothing for all occasions, even date night!  Whether you’re taking yourself on a solo date (the only dates I’ve been going on) or you’re going out on a date night with bae, a jumpsuit is a stylish and comfortable option. They’re figure flattering, easy to style, and versatile. I have a total of four jumpsuits from Roses, ranging from casual to dressy and I love them all.  If you’re looking for an affordable date night look, Roses Discount Store  is worth checking out. My jumpsuit and heels totaled under $25, proving that you can slay for less  without break

Why I'm Shopping my Closet!

Hi Dolls,  I've been making a consistent effort in wearing what I have in my closet. I've also decided to reduce my clothing purchases. I use to buy clothes every pay; now, I've decreased to buying clothes every season. I'm due for some spring purchases, but I've decided to not buy anything new until my vacation in the summer.  So far, I'm sticking with my goal. I've rediscovered clothes that  I’ve had for some time and I’ve been restyling them.   Restyling is fun! Plus, it’s saving me some coins in the process, and I love that for me. The dress I'm wearing is one of my restyles, I've had it for years and have worn it before. This time, I decided to switch up the heels and accessories.  What I'm wearing: Dress: Boohoo (old) Platforms: Scoop by Sophia Vergara (Walmart brand) Nails: Impress manicure Be sure to follow my shop thagabulouslyfe on the shop.LTK app to shop this post and get my exclusive app-only content. How often do you buy clothes?

Rooftop Vibes ~ Outfit of the Day!

Hi Dolls! I recently took a trip to Atlanta, it was lots of fun and relaxing! Usually when I take trips, I convince myself that I need to buy something new, any new clothing piece. This time, I challenged myself to wear what I already had. I was surprised at everything I found.  I only wore this set from Fashion Nova once to take pictures in it for content. I was surprised that it still had tags on it. 😔I took it with me, it was perfect to wear at Sky Lounge . It's very comfortable, soft, and has great stretch. The knot-twisted back of the top makes a statement on its own. I just added heels and a bag, and I was set. It's a simple, but significant look. 😀 What I'm Wearing: Pant set: Fashion  Nova                  Clear Heels: Fashion Nova               Clutch: Fashion Nova Earrings: Cato Fashions

Sweater Dress Szn ~ Outfit of the Day!

It's sweater dress season! I wore them when I was younger, but got away from them. I found this one on Amazon, and I was reminded of why I love them: -They can be dressed up and down.  -They're very versatile; they're perfect for the office with a cardigan or blazer, and they can be worn by itself with heels and a cape for a night out. -They're comfortable and figure flattering.  If you're looking for sweater dress ideas, I've linked this one and others under "Fall Fashion Finds" on my Amazon storefront , and also on my Liketoknow.it shop .  What I'm wearing: Sweater Dress + Earrings: Amazon Fashion Bag: Shein Heels: Fashion Nova What's a staple in your closet?

Stylish & Comfortable Outfit of the Day ~

Hello Dolls,  The older I get, the more I prefer comfort. I like to keep my summer style comfortable and cool as possible. I do like to get really dressed up at times, but you will probably find me in an easy, flowy dress (like this one) and comfortable slides all summer. Being comfortable doesn't involve just my clothing, I like comfortable footwear too.  ️The Moira Oka-B sandals that I’m wearing are extremely comfortable. They’re a lot of reasons why I love them, but I’ll just list a few.  They’re 100% recyclable, have ample arch and heel support, made with soothing massage beads, (which is great for achy feet, like mine) and they’re slip-resistant. I wore them to an event last weekend, and I was surprised at how comfortable they were. I like the massaging bead feature the most. Usually by the end of the day, my feet are sore, but the massaging beads help to alleviate the soreness.  If you're curious  to find out more? Be sure to visit the Oka-B site, and check out their

Classic Outfit of the Day!

Hello, Dolls! I hope everyone is well. I'm doing good. I went on vacation in February, and then I took a social media break to pause and renew my spirit. Sometimes you just need those breaks to pour back into yourself and reflect, so that's what I did. Now, I'm ready to move forward. 😊 Today, I'm sharing a throwback look that I wore a while ago. It's the classic blazer and jeans look, which looks good on everyone! I'm wearing my favorite blazer (mainly because of the fit and color) and favorite boyfriend jeans, paired with a fun graphic tee.  You can wear a blazer and jeans with any top, but I like to wear a graphic tee with mine because to me, it says, "I'm fun, and I don't take myself too seriously"...which is something I'm trying to work on. 😉 When all three pieces are combined together, it gives off a fun, stylish but pulled together vibe. I can easily see myself wearing this when hanging out with the girls for a night out. 🍹 What

Finding My Way Back-Outfit of the Day!

Hello, Dolls! Happy December! I hope you all are doing fine!  Lately, as far as fashion is concerned, I've been uninspired to create anything. Hence, the title of this post, "finding my way back." My lack of inspiration is a combination of a lot of things: stress, lack of motivation, no creativity, etc. I've decided to take a brief break; and then come back with some new content, and hopefully, new creativity. In the meantime, here's a look that I put together in October.  An easy poncho, vegan leather pants, and heeled boots are all stylish components for a fabulous Fall look. They all came together wonderfully in this outfit! Of course, I have to have my accessories. I couldn't wait to wear this quilted leather bag from Kate Spade. I got the bag from Uptown Cheapskate , it's my favorite thrift store! I like wearing ponchos loosely; but for this look, I wanted the fit and flare look. So, I added a vegan leather belt to cinch my waist.  What I'm Wear

In My Element~ Outfit of the Day!

Hello, Glamour Dolls I'm in love with Walmart fashion, they have some of the most trendiest brands that don't break the bank. A few of my favorite Walmart brands are No Boundaries and Time and Tru . Today, I'm going into more detail about the Eloquii Elements brand.  💗I adore the Eloquii Elements collection!  Here's why: ~Their pieces are sophisticated, on-trend and chic ~They have quality clothing, affordably priced at $50 and under ~Something about Eloquii just makes me feel grown up and cosmopolitan!  ⭐I love many clothing brands, but Eloquii is probably in my top three for plus-size fashion.  About the Look: The balloon sleeve dress I'm wearing is from the Eloquii Elements collection. It's true to size, has great stretch, and is $17! It's also versatile, I've worn it by itself, and to work with leggings under. The wedge heels are by another Walmart brand that I love, Scoop by Sofia Vergara ...check her out! It's hat season, and none of my loo

One Set Styled Three Ways! OOTD

Hello, Dolls!  I hope you all are well! I'm really starting to get back into the swing of posting more. I'm hoping to  keep the consistency going. 😀Since last year, I’ve developed a love for two piece sets. As far as clothing was concerned, two piece sets and shorts & tees got me through Quarantine 2020.⁣ ⁣  They’re a casual + comfortable option when I need something appropriate to wear while I’m teleworking, running errands around town, and even for going out. In short, they’re effortlessly chic and versatile. ⁣ ⁣ I styled this set three ways, from a simple going out look (top), to my every day look (last look). If you haven’t already, think about adding at least one two piece set to your closet…thank me later. 😉⁣ I have several sets like this, and I know I'll probably be purchasing a few more.  Layering season is here, I added a cardigan for warmth and for contrast in color The set I'm wearing is the Just Like That Curvy Set from Kay the Shoeist! It's very

The Weekend Foodie: My Fave Restaurant of Summer 2021 + OOTD!

On the weekends, I become a foodie! I was one of the people who couldn't wait to dine in at restaurants, once I felt it was safe to do so. I'm happy to say that this summer, I've had my fair share of in door dining. I've rode past the Crab Shack several times, and I decided to try it. The first time I ordered, I wasn't impressed with what I ate. To know me closely, is to know that I love seafood. So, I couldn't stand to think that any seafood spot couldn't be delicious. I had to give it one more try. The next time I went, I ordered something different, and I loved it! I've been going ever since! Need a place to go to Happy Hour after work? The Crab Shack!  Want something to eat while watching a Verzuz battle? The Crab Shack! 📍Location: If you live in the DMV area, (DC, MD, VA) the Crab Shack is located in Crofton, Md. If you're familiar with Crofton, MD, the Crab Shack used to be the Big Fish Grille.  Service + Staff: The staff is attentive. When

My Everyday Style! OOTD

I absolutely love the glitz + glamour, but this is my typical everyday style: chic,⁣ comfortable, and a little practical. 😉⁣ This summer, I have embraced being more comfortable. I used to sacrifice comfort for being cute, but I realize now that I can accomplish both.  ⁣ Style Tip: I'm still reluctant to play around with prints, I would have never bought these pants before. I decided to give it a try. To play it safe, I paired it with a white top. If you're print reluctant like me, you can always pair your prints with a solid top. Once you feel more comfortable, you can add a colored top/coordinates, or if you're bold, another print!  What I'm Wearing: ⁣ Necklace: Nasty Gal ⁣ Top: Shein Curve ⁣ Pants: Walmart  ⁣ Shoes + Bag: Shein ⁣ ⁣ P.S. These pants were a great Walmart fashion find! They ($9) are super comfortable and have great stretch. ⁣ ⁣ You can follow my shop on the  @shop.LTK  app to shop this post and get my exclusive app-only content!⁣ What’s your everyday s

On Sundays, We Brunch!

Hello, Dolls On Sundays, we Brunch! Since "we outside," your girl has been having more of a life. So, that means I've been getting out more. Brunch is my favorite meal, and I almost never turn down a brunch invitation. This past Sunday, I went out to a restaurant in Northern, Virginia called Blackwall Hitch.  It was recommended by a friend, so I was eager to visit.  They have a nice brunch buffet on Sundays. You can get anything from made to order omelets, salad, shrimp, oysters, chicken and waffles, fresh fruit and French toast to name a few. Brunch also comes with $5 mimosas, which were delicious. I got the cranberry mimosa. . . it was very refreshing.  Shrimp & Grits Firecracker Crab Dip We stayed after brunch was over, so we ordered a few entrée items. We got the shrimp and grits, and the firecracker crab dip. The crab dip came with naan bread, which I love! Both entrées were really good, I recommend both of them. After brunch and (of course) taking pictures, we

Summer Chic OOTD!

Hello, Dolls! Yayy, this is my second post of the month! Let's hope I can keep this up, every month. I've been choosing to keep it comfortable and chic for summer fashion. A jumpsuit accomplishes that for me.  A jumpsuit was my go-to back in the day. Whenever I went “out out”, I always wore a jumpsuit. I’ve embraced other styles of clothing, but I always came back to a jumpsuit. They’re always flattering, and I don’t have to worry about coordinating clothing pieces to wear with it. ⁣They're simple, and you look effortlessly put together.  If jumpsuits are your thing, I’ve linked similar ones in my LIKEtoKNOW.it profile. Hello, Dolls!  I’ve been wanting to go to brunch all lockdown. Brunch is my favorite meal! It's nothing like having a refreshing mimosa to sip on! I finally went a few weeks ago, and it was worth the wait! It was a special occasion, and I was in the company of fabulous women! 🥰 We ate at Kitchen Cray Cafe , which is in Lanham, MD. I got the crab grits, it was soo good! The food is always delicious and they always come through with the music, and mellow vibes! World Kindness Day + 3 Simple Ways to Practice Kindness!

Hi, Dolls Yesterday was World Kindness day! 💛⁣ ⁣ The funny thing is before I knew yesterday was World Kindness day, I wrote “display more kindness” as a goal for November. 📝 ⁣ ✨I wrote kindness as a goal because I tend to focus on multitasking and getting things done quickly + efficiently that sometimes kindness gets lost in my eagerness to complete tasks. In other words, I can be short and abrupt when I’m trying to get something done. ⁣ ⁣ ✨I’m working on showing more kindness this month by actively listening when people are talking. This means putting my phone down, and getting my head out of the computer when people are talking to me...really giving them my undivided attention. ⁣ ⁣ Here are a few ways to sprinkle more kindness around today and regularly. 💛⁣ ⁣ ⚡️Genuinely compliment people. ⁣ ⚡️Remember to say “please,” “thank you,” and “you’re welcome.”⁣ ⚡️When you’re buying hand sanitizer, pick up an extra bottle for a friend or loved one. ⁣ ⁣ Outfit links are on LIKEtoKNOW.it .

Casual Style OOTD!

Hello, Dolls How is everyone? I'm well. It has been a very long week for me. All this week, I've been wearing simple, but comfortable and casual looks to work. There are several reasons why: The first is because it's hot! The temps in Maryland are in the high 90's, and the humidity makes it feel like it's 100 degrees or more! The second is because my job has started doing Curbside service this week; so, I wanted to dress as comfortable as I can being that I'm going back and forth to service customers. This outfit is one of the looks that I wore this week. The jumpsuit is a fashion oldie but a goody; I love it! It's so comfortable! I decided to add some sass to it by adding the tassel earrings; and I love a good pair of shades. I don't go anywhere without my sunglasses! Outfit deets are listed below!  What I'm Wearing: Jumpsuit: Forever21 Sandals: Boo Hoo Tassel Earrings: Boo Hoo Handbag: Shoedazzle Shades: Shopalyr

Fall Fashion OOTD!

Hello, Dolls! I haven't done a work place fashion OOTD in a while, here is my most recent one! I love Fall; mainly because of its beauty, cozy temperatures, and fall treats (pumpkin spice anything + egg nog)! I also love Fall because of Fall fashion!! I love wearing cute, comfortable boots, and I love a fashionable hat to enhance any outfit! In this OOTD, I've paired both of them together to add a chic touch to my look. Outfit deets, and direct links to purchase at the bottom! P.S. The boots were an impressive find! They are $20, surprisingly comfortable, and I got them from Walmart; Rhonda Rawls referred them. Walmart's Time and Tru brand is the epitome of affordable, stylish fashion. Don't sleep on Walmart, dolls! Colorblocking OOTD!

Hello, Dolls Here's one of my latest outfits that I've styled. I've wanted to play with color blocking for some time, but, I was intimidated to do it. I was a little intimidated to try the bright, bold colors colors that color blocking is associated with; so, I played it safe, and chose muted colors. I've had this skirt for a while, I just needed the perfect blouse to go with it. I finally found it; it's actually a high-low blouse, I thought it would look better tucked into the skirt. Outfit deets below! What I'm wearing: -Blouse: Rainbow Shops -Necklace: Rainbow Shops -Pearl Tulle Skirt: Ashley Stewart -Shoes: Ashley Stewart
