The Makeup Show NYC: The Haul!

Part of the excitement of makeup trade shows are the products, this year, I picked up quite a few things. I made a list of everything that I wanted, but; you know how that works...you always end up getting a few extras that weren't on your list. Let me just say I love makeup (as you already know), so; I was extremely excited about EVERYTHING I purchased...let me warn you that I overuse the word excited in this post way to much. This show was like a buffet of makeup and of course I had to overindulge! I know I didn't need half of the stuff I bought but it was the thrill of it all! INGLOT Inglot was my first stop at TMS. They had a 30% off discount the same as they did last year at IMATS. They debuted some new body pigments, I passed on those since I already have so many pigments. I bought a small palette this time, consisting of four colors, last year I bought my 10 pan Inglot palette and I bought all shimmers in a rush...this time I took my time and bought all matte...

IMATS: The Haul (Pic Heavy) Part II

I'm back with Part II of my IMATS experience. Although I was very excited about Inglot and OCC, I did purchase some other items. Here they are... MISS ADORO LASHES I intended on purchasing some lashes at the show. I heard that at the Los Angelas IMATS last year, the Miss Adoro lashes were $1, so I was excited when I saw them at IMATS. They were 12 for $24, which is $2 for each pair. I've learned that is better to buy lashes in bulk than paying almost $5 for them individually. I really like the different styles and lengths of these lashes, they're comparable to Red Cherry lashes. I had a set of 12 but my mother wanted to try 1 pair :) Good thing we bought these early on in the day on Saturday because they sold out by the end of the day. NIGEL'S BEAUTY EMPORIUM My next stop was Nigel's Beauty Emporium , they have all kinds of makeup tools and supplies for personal use and for using in your professional makeup kit. I hadn't planned on buying an...

IMATS: The Experience! (Detailed, Long and Pic Heavy) Part I

Hey Glamour Dolls, How are you all?! Things are getting back to normal for me, thank goodness, I can now get back to the things I actually enjoy. I've missed blogging :) This is my very late IMATS post, I know some of you all attended IMATS and others have heard about it, here are my thoughts on the event. WHAT WAS IT LIKE? Amazing! I loved every bit of IMATS! Lots of people? Yes! Long lines? Not as much. Would I go again? Yes! The show was sold out both days, so of course there were tons of people. Some of  the IMATS attendees thought it was best to get there early so that they could get a head start on everything... of course everyone else had that same idea -so I heard that there were long lines when the doors first opened up, some even said the lines were wrapped around. My friends and I arrived later on both days. Saturday, we got to the show around 11am and Sunday we got there around 2pm, on both days we didn't experience any lines getting in to the show,...
