Elf (Eyes Lips Face) had a 60% off sale on everything on their site about 2 weeks ago in honor of their 6 year anniversary. I had to thank my friend and fellow makeup artist, Stephanie Mz.Squeeks Patterson for letting me know. She told me about the sale before I even saw the email from Elf. I had been checking out their makeup artist brush belt for some time, so I decided to get that along with the brush shampoo that I love. I also decided to get their daily brush cleaner too. Here are my thoughts on the products: Makeup Artist Brush Belt  So far I like the belt. It's very professional looking. It makes me feel "official" and professional, lol. It has about 25 slots to carry your brushes and you can also put in lip liners, eyeliners and glosses in the slots. It's made out of faux-leather and the price is $15, can't beat that because most brush belts start at $40. It has an adjustable strap for hippy girls like me. I love this book so far. It's a MUST HAVE item for anyone who wants a career in the makeup artist industry. I was researching some info on Google about makeup and I came up with this book. I bought it off of Amazon for about $27. The book is packed with info on how to choose a makeup school, application techniques, what to include in your kit to starting your own makeup business and so much more. It even comes with a cd that includes info on invoices, sample forms and checklists! The author is Jennifer James. She's teamed up with several other writers and makeup artists to write this book. Did I mention it has 288 pages?! Yes, it's packed with info! All I can say is go get you a copy!
