Hi Dolls, One of the things that I love about warmer weather is getting out more and exploring new places. I was invited to attend a media night held at Musicbox Karaoke Lounge by a friend and fellow content creator.  Watching others sing karaoke is entertaining. At times, I like to sing karaoke myself, so I knew this would be a fun event! I also got the opportunity to meet and mingle with fellow content creators in my area. It was a pleasure conversing with them, they gave me the "push" and motivation to continue creating content. Read on for the deets!  Location Details The lounge is located at 2980 Gallows Rd. Space 30, Falls Church, VA 22042. Parking is free. The lounge is kid friendly from 5-8pm. The hours are Monday-Sunday 5pm-2am. Hi Dolls,  I love a sip and paint experience! I haven't attended one in years, so I was ecstatic to find out that my favorite artist, Pink Lomein , was bringing her sip and paint experience to the DMV area!! I love her work and the positivity that she shares through her art, so I knew -that no matter what- that I was going to this event. 😀 It was really fun! I was able to meet her in person, enjoy good music and refreshments, and of course, paint! I really forgot how therapeutic and relaxing painting can be. It put me in a calm, mindfulness state...which is something that I need desperately. 😐 I've already decided that I want to continue painting, and I have made plans to attend another sip and paint this month. Hello Dolls! One thing I love about warmer weather and summer approaching is enjoying outdoor activities. I attended a garden party over the weekend! Since I've never been to one before, I didn't know what to expect, but I was in for a treat!  I had such a nice time being surrounded by good company, beautiful weather, and serene ambiance.  We were able to observe a floral arrangement demonstration. The florist that held the demonstration was very accommodating and knowledgeable. She answered all of our questions.  After watching the demo, we made our own arrangement!  All of the supplies such as: flowers, mason jars, aprons, shears, and decorations were provided for us. I added my favorite flower, hydrangeas; as well as roses, carnations and eucalyptus. I wanted to include soft colors in my arrangement, so I did. I like how it came out.   I really enjoyed the experience, it turned out to be fun and relaxing! I didn't know it would be therapeutic, ...
