National Lipstick Day!

Yesterday was National Lipstick Day! 💄   Besides mascara and eyeshadow, lipstick is my favorite form of makeup. For me, it's a welcomed pop of color, a mood boost, and it pulls my look together!  ⭐Fun Fact: Women who apply lipstick on a daily basis unintentionally tend to eat about 4 pounds of lipstick in their lifetime, 🤯 shocking?! In honor of National Lipstick Day, here's a selfie of me wearing my current favorite lipstick. It's Casual Rose by Mary Kay ! It's just the perfect amount of color, goes on smooth and it's ultra hydrating.  What's your favorite shade of lipstick?

Beauty Favorites of 2020!

Hello, Glamour Dolls I hope 2021 is starting off well for all of you! Today, I'm sharing my favorite beauty products of 2020. I spent the most of 2020 at home, but it did give me some time to play with beauty products. Here are my top four products. 💫⁣ ⁣ 🤎 Perfume: Being at home didn’t stop me from wearing fragrances, I started wearing it around the house and even to bed. YSL Libre is my favorite scent right now; I couldn’t find it in time to take this pic. My next favorite is Gabrielle Chanel. It’s my name, 😊 and it’s light and soft. ⁣If you like soft florals, you may like Gabrielle Chanel.  ⁣ 🤎 Lashes: I didn’t go many places in 2020, but when I did, I did a full beat. Any lashes that have volume and glam, I’ll wear it. I recently fell in love with mink lashes. I have a few on my list that I’m going to try, but what’s a few more?! Leave me any recommendations in the comments. 😉⁣ ⁣ 🤎 Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Foundation: This was my go to foundation all year....

Fall Fashion Favorites!

Hello, Glamour Dolls! It's that time of the year for Fall Fashion; I can never get enough of it! I’ve listed a few of my Fall fashion essentials that will enhance any Fall look! ⁣ ⁣ 🤎 Fedora: Besides keeping your head warm from the cooler temps, fedoras are stylish and go well with Fall outfits. Did you know that all head and face shapes can wear a fedora? ⁣ ⁣ 🤎 Leopard Flats: Leopard is always in style, and leopard flats are a fashionable way to be comfortable. If you like to wear more neutrals and warm hues in the Fall, leopard will pair beautifully with it. These flats were $9 from  @walmartfashion .  ⁣ 🤎 Statement Earrings: You can never go wrong with statement earrings. When I wear statement earrings, I let the statement earrings steal the show by keeping my necklace simple. ⁣ ⁣ 🤎 Shades: I wear shades all year because the sun is always out, it’s my signature look, and they’re chic! I wore mostly cat eye and aviator shades in the Summer, I decided to switch up to over...

Summer Favorites in Skincare, Makeup + Accesories!

Summer is finally here! I've been looking forward to summer since spring time. I have been on a clothing and accessory craze, while choosing a minimalist approach to makeup. I'll explain why. Here is my short list and mini review of a few items that I've been loving.  Mobile Oasis-Oat & Black Soap I'm a product junkie when it comes to skin care because I'm always searching for a cleanser to prevent and treat my adult acne. No matter what I try, I keep coming back to African Black soap. I noticed that when I use it, my breakouts are minimal. Plus, an added benefit is that it's not drying on the skin; and over time, it lightens acne scarring. I bought this liquid Black Soap from Mobile Oasis, not only am I impressed with the skin results, I'm also impressed with the formula and the generous amount in the bottle. It's $12 for a 16 oz bottle. Sephora Lip Stains Because of the pandemic, I have developed a minimalist approach to makeup. ...

My Winter Faves in Beauty, Skin Care, and Accessories!

Hello, Dolls Here are my latest winter favorites that I've been loving and using consistently! Murad Acne Clarifying Cleanser : I got this deluxe sample in one of my Ipsy bags; I took it with me on my last trip since it's the perfect size for my carry on. I still have adult acne, and the occasional flare ups. In just my first day of using this cleanser, it dried out my acne and eliminated several whiteheads that I had. I'm impressed with how quickly it works, and I plan on buying the full size. I'm happy with my African Black soap cleanser; but, I plan to use this cleanser when I have acne, or feel a breakout coming. The Balm Batter Up Eyeshadow Sticks: From left to right: Night Game, Dug Out, Shut Out, and Slugger One of my beauty goals is to wear eyeshadow daily; on some days, I don't have time to get my brushes out, apply primer, apply shadow, blend and etc. These shadow sticks eliminate those steps; all I do is glide it on my lid...

My Summer Favorites in Beauty + Things that Make Me Happy!

Hello, Dolls I've curated a list of my current, most loved beauty items. My summer beauty routine has been very minimal due to the hot temperatures and humidity; the result is lots of perspiration and melted off makeup for me. I had planned to be bronzed and glowing for summer; now, I'm just hot and bothered! Below are a few products that are getting good use in my beauty product rotation. I'm also sharing a few things that make me happy-July was a very busy month for me- in between the busyness, I was mentally and emotionally down for the entire month. I had my moments of sulking, but, I decided this time to go back to doing the things that made me happy. I started back reading again, I finished so many books and started reading some new ones. I also started my Adult coloring again, I forgot just how soothing coloring is for me. Below I share one book that I'm currently enjoying and a few coloring books that I've been loving! Raw Cocoa Butter I receive...

My Travel Essentials!

Hello, Dolls The warmer weather is finally here! I, like many others, like to travel more when the weather is warmer. I've compiled an updated list of travel essentials that I take with me on trips. I did a post like this three years ago, and some of the items I took were just unnecessary. As I travel more, and as I get older, I use a more minimalist approach to packing. Below you'll find my current travel essentials! White Noise App Little known fact about me, I've been sleeping with the White Noise App for years now. I have insomnia, and the White Noise app plays a variety of relaxing sounds to help you fall asleep faster. I have the app installed on my phone and Ipad, and literally can not sleep without it. My favorite sound is the Stream Water Flowing sound. White Noise also allows you to mix sounds to create a custom sound. On my Ipad (pictured), it mixes Stream Water Flowing and Thunder to create a unique, relaxing mix. Perfume Roller balls Instead...

What I've Been Loving in Beauty, Skin Care, and Books!

I have been shopping from my ever growing makeup and beauty stash, by using products that I've had for a while. Because I'm a product junkie, I don't use the same exact products enough to view it as a fave; the reason being is that I typically have several other products just like it, from different brands. But, I've taken a break from buying products, so that I can save some coins, and use what I already have. Since I started doing this, I've rediscovered some awesome products. Below are some products that I've been using regularly, and loving! I also share one of my favorite authors of the moment. Read on for my thoughts!  Beauty - It's My Raye Raye Eyeshadow Palette - I've had this palette in my collection for a while, didn't start using it until this month when I took it with me on vacation. That's what happens when you have so many eyeshadow palettes, there's always one waiting to be used in the rotation. The Ra...

Beauty and Lifestyle Travel Essentials

Traveling creates opportunities to pack just enough of your essentials or either over pack. When it comes to beauty and lifestyle items, I tend to lean on the over packing side because I love having options to chose from. Here are a few of my must-have essentials that I pack for all of my trips (except weekend getaways). I guess you could also file these under the "if you're ever stranded on a desert island, what would you have to have" category. Clarisonic Mia 2  Nothing is as good as washing and exfoliating my face as my Clarisonic Mia 2. I love it! My face feels the difference every time I wash, it gives a deep but gentle clean, removes every trace of makeup and leaves my skin soft and radiant. My Mia 2 has been kicking for years and it's on it's last leg, so; I upgraded to the Mia 3. Baby Wipes  I've been using baby wipes for years to remove my makeup. They are less inexpensive than makeup wipes and you get more for your money. I can easily ge...

5 Products I thought I wouldn't like but I love! (Mini Review)

Hey, Dolls! Here are five products that I bought thinking that they would disappoint...but I've used them and found uses for them; and will definitely buy again. This is a mini review, so I will make this quick and to the point. 1. Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash   I've tried several cleansers for acne and none of them really did what they claim. I tried this because it was oil free but I really didn't think it would do the job. It's a really good cleanser; and after using it, my breakouts are very rare. I broke out several times a week (regularly) before using this cleanser and since using it my breakouts are months apart; and when they come they don't stay around at all...they are gone in a day or two. It's made with salicylic acid that treats breakouts and prevents new breakouts from forming.  2. Missy Lynn Eyeshadow and Baked Highlighters Palette I follow Missy Lynn on You Tube and Instagram and saw her promoting her ...
