Fall Fashion Favorites!

Hello, Glamour Dolls! It's that time of the year for Fall Fashion; I can never get enough of it! I’ve listed a few of my Fall fashion essentials that will enhance any Fall look! ⁣ ⁣ 🤎 Fedora: Besides keeping your head warm from the cooler temps, fedoras are stylish and go well with Fall outfits. Did you know that all head and face shapes can wear a fedora? ⁣ ⁣ 🤎 Leopard Flats: Leopard is always in style, and leopard flats are a fashionable way to be comfortable. If you like to wear more neutrals and warm hues in the Fall, leopard will pair beautifully with it. These flats were $9 from  @walmartfashion .  ⁣ 🤎 Statement Earrings: You can never go wrong with statement earrings. When I wear statement earrings, I let the statement earrings steal the show by keeping my necklace simple. ⁣ ⁣ 🤎 Shades: I wear shades all year because the sun is always out, it’s my signature look, and they’re chic! I wore mostly cat eye and aviator shades in the Summer, I decided to switch up to over...

My Mac, NYX, Sugar Pill, Urban Decay & More Haul!

Hello All, Here is my latest makeup and beauty haul. I took advantage of some of the Black Friday sales and bought a few things. Read on for the deets! Nyx Eyeshadow Nyx had a really nice sale on their site last month. They had shadows for $1 and lip liners for $2. I have several eyeshadow palettes for my makeup kit but I wanted more neutral shades. I bought eight shadows all total, mostly neutrals and a few colorful shades for the kit. I also bought their taupe blush, I heard that it is a really good contour color for light and fair complexions. Swatches from left to right: Taupe blush, golden, irises, dark brown, hot pink, silk, hunter green, taupe e/s and walnut.  Mac Studio Conceal and Correct Palette I have also been needing a decent concealer palette for my makeup kit as well. I have individual concealers in darker colors but I needed some concealers in the medium range as well as color correctors. I chose to purchase the Mac medium/deep conceal and correc...

Girl About Town Look of the Day

Hey Glamour Dolls, Here is a recent LOTD, this was the first time that I've done a full face of makeup (minus the brows, didn't have time for them) in a few weeks... I missed it so much. I feel like I'm a bit rusty but I'm getting back into the swing of things. I've had Mac Girl About Town lipstick for years and always thought it was to bold to wear but I decided to wear it yesterday and I loved the color! I can't believe I didn't wear it for so long. Products that I'm currently Loving! (LONG)

I try not to post on topics that are so popular like the "My monthly faves" edition that a lot of bloggers and You Tube gurus do (nothing wrong with posting about your faves) but I just try to switch things up a bit, but; I can't help spreading the word on these products... I may not post about my faves every month but every once in a while I would like to share products that I can't get enough of using. Here are some of them! Mac Oil Control Lotion - It's spring time again, even though I'm still dealing with winter temperatures in my area, my skin is starting to produce more oil like it normally does in the spring time. I've been using the oil control lotion every day as a moisturizer and to combat oil. I really like it because it works and over time it slows down the amount of oil your skin produces. Ambi Fade Cream - I broke out terribly around my mouth and chin in February. My acne always leaves scars and dark spots on my face, so I have to reso...

What's in my Kit? (Lips)

A good majority of my followers are makeup artists or aspiring makeup artists and part of the makeup I buy is for my makeup artistry kit, so... each month I will feature a few items that I use in my professional makeup artistry kit for clients-hopefully this will give artists (both professional and aspiring) a good idea of  what products work and what doesn't work. These are the products that I use for lips. LIP LINER I love NYX lip liners. They are inexpensive, available in numerous shades and their color payoff is excellent. The color payoff is equivalent to Mac lip liners to me but they're less expensive and longer. They retail for $3.50 each on the  NYX  website but I bought them as a bundle from a seller on Ebay. It was about $10 for a set of 8 and that included shipping. Three must have colors are: chestnut, current and natural. Colors: Nutmeg, Cappuccino, Auburn, Pinky, Current and Natural LIP STICK/GLOSS I use Kryolan's Mini Lip Rouge palettes. Kry...

Wet n Wild " Pride" Look of the Day

Yay me, I won another giveaway from Cosmetic Kay's beauty blog. I won all 4 of the Wet n Wild color icon eyeshadow palettes plus some other extras! I did a look featuring the Pride palette which consists of greens, blues and whites. The palette comes in 6 colors: 3 shimmers and 3 matte shadows. I normally try to keep it simple and use 3 shadows at the least when I'm doing eye makeup but this time I decided to live a little... I used all 6 shadows. PRODUCTS USED Eyes -Elf brow kit in medium -Mac Painterly paint pot as an eye base -matte white in the tear duct and inner eye area -matte green in the middle of my lid -matte blue and shimmer blue on the outter lid -matte blue in the crease -shimmer green above the crease -shimmer white as my highlight color -Elf waterproof eyeliner pen in black on upper lashline -Mark enchanted forest (green) eye marker on lower lash line -Maybelline Falsies Volum mascara Face -Mufe HD foundation in 173 Amber -Black ...

November Makeup Haul-Lips,Cheeks and Brushes

This is the second post of my November makeup haul. I picked up a few more things from a few brands that I've been meaning to try for a while. LOREAL INFALLIBLE  LIPCOLOR Every since I saw Beyonce' in the L'oreal commercial I wanted to try this lip color. I wanted to see if the 16 hour- never fail color would live up to it's claim. I love this color! I lost my Mac Ruby Woo lipstick and I was very upset but now that I have this color, I could care less about finding my Ruby Woo lipstick. This red is an excellent dupe for Ruby Woo, I actually like it better than Ruby Woo. I purchased it from Target for $8.99. I saw it at CVS and it was priced for $13.99... Target is the best bet. I could go on and on about this lipstick but I'm going to save it for my review with pictures. NYX CREAM BLUSHES I've also been meaning to try cream blushes forever, but I was always apprehensive about applying it since cream can be more concentrated than powder at times. I dec...

Look of the Day-Autumn Blend

Fall and Autumn are here, I always love the pretty leaves turning colors. When I was little I used to paint pictures of the fall leaves now I just paint faces! The colors that I used in this look are inspired of  the Autumn leaves :) I've been wanting to use some of my makeup that I don't use that much, so in this look I've used all kinds of makeup brands. I did some practicing with highlighting under my eyes. I also did some contouring around my nose to make it look smaller, but it came out looking like the scarecrow (pointy nose) from Wizard of Oz, lol; so I removed the contour. I also used 5 eye shadows in this look, I normally don't use that many shadows but I was in the mood for color experimenting :) My camera didn't do my foundation any justice at all, and it made my lipstick look to bright, but anyways...here's the look. PRODUCTS USED Eyes -Ben Nye Lumiere Grande Colour Palette ( I used the shadows wet with Mac Fix Plus)  Aztec Gold inner lid  ...

Dramatic Cut Crease Look

Cutting the crease is an eyeshadow technique that I've been practicing for some time. It's a very dramatic eye look and you sometimes see it on drag queens or fierce divas! If anyone remembers "Mimi" from The Drew Carey Show then you may have an idea of what I'm talking about, lol. Cutting the crease is a dramatic line just above the eye and you can extend it all the way to the side part of your nose. The line is intended to be sharp and precise to the point that it resembles the sharp line you see when you cut something with a knife or scissors. For me, a cut-crease is not an everyday makeup look that I would wear but it can be worn when you want to stand out or maybe a night out the town or just cause you feel like wearing it. Here is a look that I did cutting the crease. I used Mac's Hello Kitty Too Dolly eye palette that came out in 2009. As you can see the look is dramatic. I used scotch tape on the sides of my temples to make the sharp, precise l...
