Hey, Dolls! Here are five products that I bought thinking that they would disappoint...but I've used them and found uses for them; and will definitely buy again. This is a mini review, so I will make this quick and to the point. 1. Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash   I've tried several cleansers for acne and none of them really did what they claim. I tried this because it was oil free but I really didn't think it would do the job. It's a really good cleanser; and after using it, my breakouts are very rare. I broke out several times a week (regularly) before using this cleanser and since using it my breakouts are months apart; and when they come they don't stay around at all...they are gone in a day or two. It's made with salicylic acid that treats breakouts and prevents new breakouts from forming.  2. Hey, Dolls! The Makeup Show NYC was a blast, as always. For those who may not know, The Makeup Show is an annual trade show held in select cities for makeup professionals and the like to learn of new products, partake in workshops to perfect their craft and to also shop for beauty and makeup products with discounts up to 40% off. This year, I went on one day, which was Monday. It was still crowded but not as it normally is on Sunday. We arrived around noon time, so that gave us till 5 to shop, meet and mingle. Hello Glamour Dolls! It has been some months since I posted, so much has been going on. I have done some traveling, still working full-time and I've been busy with my two side hustles. Hey, Glamour Dolls I've loved a lot of products within the year, some you all have heard me blog about a lot, others not so much. Here are a few products that stayed in my makeup bag all year. 1. Mac Select Cover Up concealer NC44 -This concealer is liquid form and is good for covering up blemishes and dark circles. It provides a medium coverage, often times I only wore this concealer with powder because the coverage is very comparable to foundation. What I love the most, is it provides a "my skin but better" finish; never cakey or mask like. 2. Maybelline Fit Me foundation 320 - I didn't readily jump on this product when it first came out, but; since I'm a coupon queen & I received a $2 off coupon for this, I went out and bought it. I didn't wear foundation much this past year, but; when I did-I wore this foundation. A good majority of my followers are makeup artists or aspiring makeup artists and part of the makeup I buy is for my makeup artistry kit, so... each month I will feature a few items that I use in my professional makeup artistry kit for clients-hopefully this will give artists (both professional and aspiring) a good idea of what products work and what doesn't work. These are the eyeshadows that I use in my kit. I thought it would be cost effective to purchase eyeshadow palettes and it also saves space. COASTAL SCENTS 88 PALETTE I think it's safe to say that this palette needs no introduction. The shadows are good to work with, they're pigmented and the palette offers a wide range of colors, some of the colors can be chalky but I have so many eyeshadows in my collection I could really care less about a half a dozen shadows being chalky.  This palette was one of my first ever reviews on my blog. Fall and Autumn are here, I always love the pretty leaves turning colors. When I was little I used to paint pictures of the fall leaves now I just paint faces! The colors that I used in this look are inspired of  the Autumn leaves :) I've been wanting to use some of my makeup that I don't use that much, so in this look I've used all kinds of makeup brands. I did some practicing with highlighting under my eyes. I also did some contouring around my nose to make it look smaller, but it came out looking like the scarecrow (pointy nose) from Wizard of Oz, lol; so I removed the contour. I also used 5 eye shadows in this look, I normally don't use that many shadows but I was in the mood for color experimenting :) My camera didn't do my foundation any justice at all, and it made my lipstick look to bright, but anyways...here's the look.
