  Hi Dolls, I'm excited that my favorite season is here! I love the warmer weather and outdoor events. I visited  Spring Field Manor in Thurmont, Maryland, last weekend to visit the Lavender Fields. The annual Maryland Lavender Festival was held June 13-14th, it was a sold out event. I wasn't able to attend, but I got a ticket to visit the Lavender Fields. It was such a peaceful experience. I've lived in Maryland for over half of my life and visiting the fields felt like I was transported to another state. The land and views were so captivating. It was nice to spend the day surrounded by lavender blooms, sunshine, and the simple reminder that beauty can be found in the quiet moments.  I felt like this was one of the best resets. It allowed me to step away from the routine, take the scenic route, and allow myself to be fully present. It left me feeling refreshed and inspired.   Hi Dolls,  I have been a Golden Girls fan since I was a kid, I watched the show with my mom when I was younger, and I will happily binge watch episodes of it on Hulu and TV Land like I haven't seen them before. I love just about anything Golden Girls related. One of my favorite Adult coloring books is my beloved Golden Girls book. 😊 I traveled to Atlanta early this month. While visiting, one of my highlights was visiting The Golden Girls Kitchen . I heard about the pop-up experience in other states, so I was happy to see it make its way to Atlanta (which is a second home for me).  It was such a cute experience.   While there, I toured the living room, kitchen, and even Blanche’s bedroom. The kitchen serves dishes inspired by the show, alongside cocktails named after the Girls. I ended the experience with a slice of cheesecake   and a stop in the gift shop.   Hi Dolls,  I attended my first DC Bloggers event last weekend! Even after 15 years of blogging, I still get nervous walking into creator events, (anxiety and apprehension takes over) but the energy there was everything. It was a fun, welcoming vibe, and I loved connecting with some amazing bloggers and finally meeting a few of my fave IG friends in real life. Hi Dolls, One of my most memorable tours in Croatia was visiting  Plitvice Lakes National Park . The beauty to behold in this park was something I’ve never experienced before, it was unforgettable and completely captivating. The serenity and beauty of the lakes and waterfalls left me in awe. It won’t just be remembered for its beauty, it’ll also be remembered for testing my physical endurance. The tour involved steps, hiking up and down inclines and declines. There are lower and upper lakes, each tour was an hour and a half of walking. I got 17,000 steps that day. Thankfully, I was able to walk at my own pace and our tour guide was very patient. Would I do it again?  Absolutely!   If you’re ever in Croatia, this is a  must-see  that’s worth every step and every cent.
