Top 5 Faves of 2014 (Skin, Hair and Makeup)

Hey Glamour Dolls! Can't believe there are only two weeks left in the year! These are my top five products that I've consistently used throughout the year and I've repurchased over and over again. Read on, and I"ll tell you why I love them. 1. Mac Studio Moisture Cream Moisturizer I originally bought this moisturizer in a travel sized version to sample. The cream is light weight and very moisture rich. It gives my skin a nice radiance and leaves my skin supple. It works wonders in the Fall/Winter months because my skin drinks up moisturizer in the cooler months. I've used other moisturizers and I would put it on and you couldn't tell that I put anything on thirty minutes later; with this moisturizer, it stays on longer. I liked it so much that I went on and bought the full size version. 2. Clarisionic Skin Care System The Clarisonic skin care system is a must-have holy grail product for me! I have blemished, acne prone skin and I can ...

Fave 5 of 2011!

Hey, Glamour Dolls It's that time of year, another year almost gone and a new one coming in!  I don't do a monthly "faves" posts like a lot of Bloggers, but; these are my top products that I've been loving in 2011. I did a post like this last year (read HERE ) and really, not much has changed. I still use most of my top products from last year... here are some faves-old and new. WET N WILD EYESHADOW PALETTES Every year I've been loving Wet n Wild palette's more and more... the pigmentation, color choices and the prices won me over! I use these palettes when I want a quick look and don't want to think about what colors to put together. They make some of the best mattes shadows. I really don't have to go in to much detail about these palettes, everyone should know how fabulous they are by now! I own 10 of their palettes. I must say one of the beauty highlights of my year was when I found the limited edition I heart Matte palette at Walgree...

Blue Had Me at Hello Look of the Day

I've had this Wet and Wild palette since last November and never used it, I took it out last night and started playing with it... it's an 8 pan palette but I used all of the colors on the right side. This is my favorite Wet n Wild palette, the turquoise is so beautiful. I love turquoise eyeshadow, it's almost a rival for my Inglot turquoise shadow. I had fun doing this look, it got me excited about makeup again. I was feeling blaze' about it for a while... The camera does this lip tar NO justice, it's a gorgeous neon pink. I used all of the colors on the right. PRODUCTS USED Eyes -Elf brow kit medium -Mac Rubenesque paint pot as eye base -Ice blue e/s as highlight -Turquoise e/s on lid -Dark blue e/s in crease -Black e/s in crease to deepen -Mac Engraved power point eyeliner -L'oreal Lineur Intense liquid liner -Red Cherry #1 lashes Face -Mufe HD Invisible foundation #173 -Mufe HD concealer #360 -Mufe HD Invisible powder -Ma...

Girl About Town Look of the Day

Hey Glamour Dolls, Here is a recent LOTD, this was the first time that I've done a full face of makeup (minus the brows, didn't have time for them) in a few weeks... I missed it so much. I feel like I'm a bit rusty but I'm getting back into the swing of things. I've had Mac Girl About Town lipstick for years and always thought it was to bold to wear but I decided to wear it yesterday and I loved the color! I can't believe I didn't wear it for so long. L'oreal Double Extend Eye Illuminating Mascara Review

Hey Glamour Dolls, I'm back with another review. This will be my last post for a little while because I'll be heading out of town for IMATS  New York this Friday YAY! (which is completely SOLD OUT!) and I'm also taking a mini vacation, so I will be on a brief blogger hiatus. I will be back with plenty more reviews, LOTD's and of course my IMATS haul and experiences. Here are my thoughts on the L'oreal Double Extend Illuminating mascara... I received the Black Bronze color. PRODUCT CLAIMS "L'Oreal introduces Double Extend Eye Illuminator, a two-step lengthening mascara professionally developed to illuminate your eyes. Black mascara infused with a hint of color adds volume and length to lashes while intensifying eyes. Illuminating top coat infused with light-reflecting pearls highlights your eye color with our exclusive sphere tip brush." HOW TO USE? 1. Apply the black mascara to lengthen lashes and intesify. (The black has a hint...

L'oreal One Sweep Eyeshadow Review

As some of you may know I received the L'oreal One Sweep eyeshadow to review, the thought behind the eyeshadow is to apply all three colors in one sweep with the curved applicator brush included in the compact.  The one sweep eyeshadow was designed to eliminate the need to apply the three steps in normal eyeshadow application, which includes: a highlight color, crease color and lid color. These are my thoughts... I received the Playful palette for brown eyes. The curved applicator brush, the colors swipe on the brush exactly as they are seen in the palette. PRODUCT CLAIMS "The unique applicator is designed to fit your eye shape to define, color and highlight your eyes in one easy sweep. The beautifully coordinated shadows come in natural or playful palettes expertly designed to enhance your eye color. Discover your stunning look!" HOW TO USE IT? 1. Fit curve of applicator  to the curve of the powder. Apply darkest shade closest to the lash line. Sweep down. ...

Products that I'm currently Loving! (LONG)

I try not to post on topics that are so popular like the "My monthly faves" edition that a lot of bloggers and You Tube gurus do (nothing wrong with posting about your faves) but I just try to switch things up a bit, but; I can't help spreading the word on these products... I may not post about my faves every month but every once in a while I would like to share products that I can't get enough of using. Here are some of them! Mac Oil Control Lotion - It's spring time again, even though I'm still dealing with winter temperatures in my area, my skin is starting to produce more oil like it normally does in the spring time. I've been using the oil control lotion every day as a moisturizer and to combat oil. I really like it because it works and over time it slows down the amount of oil your skin produces. Ambi Fade Cream - I broke out terribly around my mouth and chin in February. My acne always leaves scars and dark spots on my face, so I have to reso...

Look of the Day-Feeling Blue... but I wore Red!

I did this look yesterday. I wasn't feeling in the best mood yesterday and whenever I don't feel good- I wear the color red... to me it's better than wearing black or blue when I'm down and since I couldn't wear my red dress, I had to settle for red lipstick.  I was rushing when I did this look (I forgot to put on mascara) and I intended it to be very simple... and it was. Products Used I used the 2 beige colors in my 88 neutral palette. FACE -Makeup for Ever Invisible HD foundation in 173 -Elf Candid Coral blush on apples of my cheeks EYES -shimmer beige color from the 88 neutral palette on my lid -matte beige color from the 88 neutral palette as my highlight -Mac Painterly paint pot as my eye base -Mac Engraved power point pencil as eye liner -Elf brow kit in medium (not pictured) LIPS -Loreal Infallible lip color: Beyonce Red

November Makeup Haul-Lips,Cheeks and Brushes

This is the second post of my November makeup haul. I picked up a few more things from a few brands that I've been meaning to try for a while. LOREAL INFALLIBLE  LIPCOLOR Every since I saw Beyonce' in the L'oreal commercial I wanted to try this lip color. I wanted to see if the 16 hour- never fail color would live up to it's claim. I love this color! I lost my Mac Ruby Woo lipstick and I was very upset but now that I have this color, I could care less about finding my Ruby Woo lipstick. This red is an excellent dupe for Ruby Woo, I actually like it better than Ruby Woo. I purchased it from Target for $8.99. I saw it at CVS and it was priced for $13.99... Target is the best bet. I could go on and on about this lipstick but I'm going to save it for my review with pictures. NYX CREAM BLUSHES I've also been meaning to try cream blushes forever, but I was always apprehensive about applying it since cream can be more concentrated than powder at times. I dec...
