  Yesterday was National Lipstick Day! 💄   Besides mascara and eyeshadow, lipstick is my favorite form of makeup. For me, it's a welcomed pop of color, a mood boost, and it pulls my look together!  ⭐Fun Fact: Women who apply lipstick on a daily basis unintentionally tend to eat about 4 pounds of lipstick in their lifetime, 🤯 shocking?! Hello, Dolls I don't know who makes up these national days, but, they can be fun! Today is National Lipstick Day! I wear lipstick every day; but, I thought it would be fun to post the shade that I love currently. Today, I'm wearing Electric Raine  liquid lipstick by Coloured Raine . I love how orange lipstick looks on skin, especially brown skin. It's very becoming. I usually wear this lipstick by itself; but, it also makes a great ombre' lip. To give it an amazing ombre' effect, you can add a deep purple lip liner- and then add orange in the middle- and blend. Or, you can add a red lippie to the perimeter of your lips, and add orange to the center, the results are beautiful! What lipstick are you wearing today?

Hello, Dolls A lady always needs a red lip in her makeup bag, always! Contrary to what some think, there is a red shade for everyone, you just have to find the right shade and intensity. Not only are red lips alluring, they are classic. Red is becoming my signature shade. I have several red lippies in my collection, my latest shade is Bawse Lady liquid matte by The Lip Bar . I found out about The Lip Bar on Instagram . I saw an Insta Story of a model wearing it, it looked so gorgeous on her! After it being sold out for a while, I finally got my hands on it. Bawse Lady is described as " The best red you'll ever meet. Period." On me, it comes off as a true bordeaux red.   What I like about it is: Long-wearing, longest I've worn it is 10 hours straight. Easy to apply applicator. Non-sticky. Easy to remove, doesn't leave a residue. Costs $13. What I like about The Lip Bar brand is: Variety of lip colors.  The products are vegan and cruelty free....

I've noticed that I collect so much makeup and I don't come close to wearing all of it, so; I put myself on a makeup no buy and I've been shopping from my stash. In my stash, I've rediscovered some products and wondered why I don't wear them more often. Today, I wore the Mac Hibiscus lipstick to work, it came out with the Mac Surf Baby collection in 2011. It's a beautiful bright orange coral and it pairs well with a chestnut lip liner. Since the seasons are about to change, I'm going to pull this out and wear it more often. PS. I've been loving BB creams, I'm wearing the Iman BB cream in this picture...the full review is coming in the next few days.

Yay!!! I'm finally hitting pan on lipstick! For those that don't know, hitting pan means that you've used a product so much that you can start to see the inside pan of the container... in other words-you've used the product so much that you're about to run out of it :) I've hit pan on products before but never lipstick.  Mac "O" and Viva Glam VI SE  Mac "O" lipstick (purplish-red with golden pearl) which is the first lipstick I ever bought from Mac and Viva Glam VI special edition (blue based pink) are the two lipsticks that I'm hitting pan on. "O" I have had forever (shameful, I know) and Viva Glam VI I've had for a year... I've been wearing it to work every day and now it's almost gone. I love Viva Glam VI...
