Fall Cozy Must-Haves!

I absolutely love Fall! 🍂 I enjoyed Summer! I didn't want it to go, but I welcome Fall too. Fall is just the perfect time to admire the beautiful leaves changing colors, get cozy while reading a good book, decorate your home, and try every pumpkin spice drink (if you like it) you can find.  One of the things I look forward to in Fall is to make my home cozy. I know that my home can be cozy all year, but having a cozy home hits different in the cooler months. Plus, it gives me my own pockets of peace. Here are my latest must-haves that create cozy Fall vibes: Fall Cozy Vibes Checklist  Fall Decor  Fall scented candle  Hot drink topped with marshmallows  Cozy Hoodie Blanket  The hoodie blanket I'm wearing is made with fleece on the inside and outside, it perfectly combines the coziness of a blanket, and the warmth of a hoodie. If you’re cold natured, like me, you’ll love this in the cooler months. It’s super warm, soft and cozy! Mine is from 9basic. If you would like to get yo

One Set Styled Three Ways! OOTD

Hello, Dolls!  I hope you all are well! I'm really starting to get back into the swing of posting more. I'm hoping to  keep the consistency going. 😀Since last year, I’ve developed a love for two piece sets. As far as clothing was concerned, two piece sets and shorts & tees got me through Quarantine 2020.⁣ ⁣  They’re a casual + comfortable option when I need something appropriate to wear while I’m teleworking, running errands around town, and even for going out. In short, they’re effortlessly chic and versatile. ⁣ ⁣ I styled this set three ways, from a simple going out look (top), to my every day look (last look). If you haven’t already, think about adding at least one two piece set to your closet…thank me later. 😉⁣ I have several sets like this, and I know I'll probably be purchasing a few more.  Layering season is here, I added a cardigan for warmth and for contrast in color The set I'm wearing is the Just Like That Curvy Set from Kay the Shoeist! It's very

The Weekend Foodie: My Fave Restaurant of Summer 2021 + OOTD!

On the weekends, I become a foodie! I was one of the people who couldn't wait to dine in at restaurants, once I felt it was safe to do so. I'm happy to say that this summer, I've had my fair share of in door dining. I've rode past the Crab Shack several times, and I decided to try it. The first time I ordered, I wasn't impressed with what I ate. To know me closely, is to know that I love seafood. So, I couldn't stand to think that any seafood spot couldn't be delicious. I had to give it one more try. The next time I went, I ordered something different, and I loved it! I've been going ever since! Need a place to go to Happy Hour after work? The Crab Shack!  Want something to eat while watching a Verzuz battle? The Crab Shack! 📍Location: If you live in the DMV area, (DC, MD, VA) the Crab Shack is located in Crofton, Md. If you're familiar with Crofton, MD, the Crab Shack used to be the Big Fish Grille.  Service + Staff: The staff is attentive. When

Exchanging Screen Time for Reading Time!

Hello, Dolls Lately, my current self care of choice is reading. For me, it's a great mental escape. My worries, anxieties, and fears disappear when I'm reading an intriguing book. I’ve been an avid reader since I was young, but I stopped reading last year.  It's crazy, because last year was the start of the pandemic. I had all the time in the world then, but I read nothing.  A few months ago, a friend encouraged me to read a particular book so we could discuss it; it really rekindled my love for reading, and I’ve been reading ever since. ⁣ ⁣ My goal is to read 20 books by December 31st. I’m on book 9. Having less screen time is helping me accomplish this goal. I’m always surprised at my weekly cellphone usage screen stats when I get the notification.  ⁣ Instead of aimlessly scrolling on my phone, I've started reading. I'm trying to enjoy those free moments of solitude more, instead of scrolling through an app. Some of my days are mentally draining, so I plan a readi
