My Travel Essentials!

Hello, Dolls The warmer weather is finally here! I, like many others, like to travel more when the weather is warmer. I've compiled an updated list of travel essentials that I take with me on trips. I did a post like this three years ago, and some of the items I took were just unnecessary. As I travel more, and as I get older, I use a more minimalist approach to packing. Below you'll find my current travel essentials! White Noise App Little known fact about me, I've been sleeping with the White Noise App for years now. I have insomnia, and the White Noise app plays a variety of relaxing sounds to help you fall asleep faster. I have the app installed on my phone and Ipad, and literally can not sleep without it. My favorite sound is the Stream Water Flowing sound. White Noise also allows you to mix sounds to create a custom sound. On my Ipad (pictured), it mixes Stream Water Flowing and Thunder to create a unique, relaxing mix. Perfume Roller balls Instead...

Beauty and Lifestyle Travel Essentials

Traveling creates opportunities to pack just enough of your essentials or either over pack. When it comes to beauty and lifestyle items, I tend to lean on the over packing side because I love having options to chose from. Here are a few of my must-have essentials that I pack for all of my trips (except weekend getaways). I guess you could also file these under the "if you're ever stranded on a desert island, what would you have to have" category. Clarisonic Mia 2  Nothing is as good as washing and exfoliating my face as my Clarisonic Mia 2. I love it! My face feels the difference every time I wash, it gives a deep but gentle clean, removes every trace of makeup and leaves my skin soft and radiant. My Mia 2 has been kicking for years and it's on it's last leg, so; I upgraded to the Mia 3. Baby Wipes  I've been using baby wipes for years to remove my makeup. They are less inexpensive than makeup wipes and you get more for your money. I can easily ge...

Quick Beauty Tip for the Budget Divas

Makeup removal can be so irritating to remove, when I get home I just want to crash but not before I remove my makeup. There are plenty of makeup removers out there from: makeup removal wipes to liquid and cream makeup removals. I put about 10-15 wipes in here, it's very convienent for traveling. One of my best kept secrets is... I use baby wipes to remove my makeup. I used to buy to makeup wipes and they did the job, but they can be expensive- $6-$8 for 30 wipes and some brands are even more expensive than that. I thought, why am I using makeup wipes when I can use baby wipes. If baby wipes are gentle enough for a baby's butt, they're gentle enough to use for my face. Baby wipes remove all of my makeup, even stubborn mascara and eyelash glue. They're also cheaper, I can get 80-90 wipes for $3 or less.  I'm not particular about any brand-I normally just buy the store brand. They're made with some of the same cleansing ingredients and moisture prop...
