Things to do in Maryland ~ Lavender Fields Farm at Springfield Manor!

Hi Dolls, I'm excited that my favorite season is here! I love the warmer weather and outdoor events. I visited  Spring Field Manor in Thurmont, Maryland, last weekend to visit the Lavender Fields. The annual Maryland Lavender Festival was held June 13-14th, it was a sold out event. I wasn't able to attend, but I got a ticket to visit the Lavender Fields. It was such a peaceful experience. I've lived in Maryland for over half of my life and visiting the fields felt like I was transported to another state. The land and views were so captivating. It was nice to spend the day surrounded by lavender blooms, sunshine, and the simple reminder that beauty can be found in the quiet moments.  I felt like this was one of the best resets. It allowed me to step away from the routine, take the scenic route, and allow myself to be fully present. It left me feeling refreshed and inspired. This visit will definitely be a core summer memory for me. Scroll for pictures, captions, and the...

DC Bloggers Takeover + Meetup!

Hi Dolls,  I attended my first DC Bloggers event last weekend! Even after 15 years of blogging, I still get nervous walking into creator events, (anxiety and apprehension takes over) but the energy there was everything. It was a fun, welcoming vibe, and I loved connecting with some amazing bloggers and finally meeting a few of my fave IG friends in real life. Overall, it  was such a success! 👏🏽Connecting with fellow creators, sharing insights, and discovering new retailers made it such a memorable experience.  This event reminded me why I love creating, and it reignited my commitment to stay consistent and intentional with my content for the rest of the year (and beyond). 💫 If you’re in the DMV area, make sure to check out  Tanger Outlets National Harbor , there’s truly something for everyone, from fashion to beauty and home finds.  ️A huge thank you to   DC Bloggers ,   Tanger Outlets National Harbor ,   Sephora ,   Puma ,   ...

Wine not make it a night to remember? (DC Wine Fest-Fall Edition)

DC Wine Fest is becoming a yearly tradition for me! A few weeks ago, I discovered some amazing new wines and I even purchased a few bottles to take home. It was a night full of endless laughs… and endless sips.  This wine was really good, it reminds me of a smoother version of XXL If you’re a wine enthusiast who loves unlimited pours, check out the Spring edition on April 25, 2026. Tickets can be purchased at DC Wine Fest .

Cowboy Carter Chic 🤠

Hello Dolls, Summer is here! It's one of my favorite times of the year, because I actually have more of a social life when the weather is warmer. I have been working non-stop and saving up for a special event, so my social activities have been limited this year. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to see Beyonce' though! So many people raved about the Renaissance tour, so I didn't want to miss out on her next tour. Thankfully, I was able to get a ticket from Seat Geek for $107 the week before the concert!  My friends that let me tag along with them, they helped me out so much that night I'm so glad that I did, because I absolutely enjoyed myself. She puts on an amazing show! Her voice sounds the same as it does on the radio. Her visuals, costumes and team of dancers were incredible. Seeing Blue Ivy doing her thing and seeing Rumi just being Rumi put the icing on the cake. I thought I was going to hear her perform songs from the Cowboy Carter album for the entire nigh...

My experience at the The Styles Fashion Brunch!

Hey Dolls! I hope the last few months of 2023 is treating you well! I've been good. I've been trying to maintain and have fun in between my work-life demands. If there's a fun event happening and my pockets can afford it, I'm going! I attended a Styles Brunch last month. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. The Styles Brunch is a luxury plus size fashion brunch. It was held in Baltimore, MD this year.   I attended to meet Atarah (the dynamite hostess), network, eat well, and celebrate style in a luxury setting. My experience exceeded all of my expectations!  From the welcome mimosa, to learning from the elite panel, I felt celebrated, empowered and inspired.  The vibe that I felt from this entire experience was "go where you are celebrated, not tolerated."  It was a joy to be surrounded by beautiful, likeminded women who came together to celebrate one another, style, confidence and positivity! I left this event with so much more than I anticipated. I...

Things to do in the DMV~Great Falls Park! 💚

I took a guided nature tour at Great Falls Park earlier in the month. The beautiful scenery and peaceful atmosphere is captivating. If you love the outdoors or nature, Great Falls is a must see!    Read on for the details and pics! The Deets: The park is located at 9200 Old Dominion Dr. McLean, Va 22102. Admission is $20 per vehicle. An annual pass is $35. Your $20 admission pass is valid for seven days, and it allows you entrance into the Chesapeake and the Ohio Canal National Park. You have the option to choose a guided tour by a Park Ranger, this is a great choice if you want to learn about the history of the park. I loved the guided tour option; I really enjoyed hearing about the history of the park Ranger Chris was very patient and informative! Be sure to bring bug spray and water to stay hydrated on the hike 😉 Great Falls is a cool place to experience with friends and family 💗 The most beautiful view, everyone was in awe of the Falls 😍 One of our last spots on...
