Hey Dolls, I had the opportunity to take a Mac Pro Class this year! There were two in my area this year, I took the highlighting and contouring class at the Pentagon City Mac store in Arlington, VA; a few weeks ago. FYI, the classes are cheaper now; this one was $25 for two hours and non redeemable in product. The price used to be $100 and fully redeemable in product. The class was taught by Mac Senior Artist, Regan Rabanal . He taught us his tips and tricks and he did two demos on two women with different skin types and complexions to show how he uses a variety of techniques and products based on the client's needs. Here are a few tips that I learned: 1. One contouring technique doesn't fit all. Consider the face shape and texture of skin. Someone who already has a slim, narrow face will not need as much contouring as someone who has a round face. I'm back with my Mac Pro class post. Here it is... Mac offers pro classes to its pro members a few times a year, there were two in my area; which was the Bridal Beauty and the Creating Drag makeup class. I really wanted to take the drag makeup class but it starts the same day that I leave for vacation. I hesitantly decided to take the Bridal Beauty class, the only reason that I was hesitant was because I had already taken the Mac Pro Bridal Beauty  class in 2010 before, I loved it, but; I wanted to learn something different. Since I was in a funk, I decided, why not?! I needed something to get me reinspired. I took my first Pro class from Mac last Sunday in Wash, DC. Mac offers pro classes to their pro members in a variety of topics on makeup and application. I took the Bridal makeup class. It was amazing! This particular class was for 2 hours and the price was $100 (that was fully redeemable in products). The instructor was one of Mac's Senior Pro Artists, Tiffany Johnston. The line to get inside, this was a SOLD OUT class!  Tiffany was a great instructor. She has been a makeup artist for over 20 years! The first part of the class she put us at ease and asked us what we wanted to learn out of the class and she answered all of our questions from contracts, kit essentials, bridal consultations, rates, to our professionalism.
