Ahh, the drugstore! It really has become a one stop shop for me for makeup, especially since I've been on a budget. I can always find something at the drugstore when I've forgotten my cosmetic bag and I've even replenished part of my makeup kit at the drugstore. I must browse the makeup aisle every time I visit CVS and Walgreens. Here are a few of my best purchases that are all under $10 each.
MILANI
I saw a friend with the Milani Infinite liquid eyeliner on, it was this same exact shade. It looked beautiful on her. I bought it for $8 at CVS. The color you see is exactly how it applies, it's very true to color. It glides on easy and it is waterproof, I swatched it on my hand and it doesn't budge. I had to wash my hands a few times before it finally came off. It claims to last 24 hours, the most I've worn is for 10 hours and it stayed on without smudging or fading.
YARDLEY
I started using natural soap from a company years ago, the company went out of business and I've been using Yardley every since. It's made with natural ingredients and it's very cheap, about $1.40 at CVS. I've used plenty of soaps and beauty bars and some of them moisturize well but leave this filmy residue behind on my skin, Yardley is the only soap that doesn't leave behind residue or soap scum.
ALMAY
I recently stumbled across Almay eyeshadow trios, I won a palette in a giveaway and I was really impressed with the shadows. Their silky smooth, apply easily and have great color payoff. I won the Intense I-color trio that is designed to intensify your eye color, I liked it so much that I went out and bought a another trio. The kits are $7.50 at CVS, but; I saw these trios in Big Lots for $2!
BLACK OPAL
I rave about Black Opal's creme stick foundations all the time! Great foundation for medium to full coverage, it also doubles as a concealer and it's great to use for contouring. It's made with SPF and it photographs beautifully. The only thing is, it does cause your skin to produce more oil-so, you will definitely need a primer or oil control mattifier. I bought this from CVS as well, it's about $9 and some change.
BLACK RADIANCE

BLACK RADIANCE
This is one of my new found loves, Black Radiance creme liner. Only $5, it glides on effortlessly and delivers a smooth line every time. I have one for myself and one for my kit. I wish that Black Radiance would add more colors of the creme liner.

I usually buy them from Wal-Mart. I've never seen them at CVS. I'll have to check there next time since they have that beauty rewards points system.
Yeah, check CVS... I had to join their beauty club, when I spend so much money on their cosmetics I get $5 off!
