Fall Cozy Reads!

My Fall reading list is always growing! There's something about Fall that makes me want to curl up with a good book on those extra chilly days when I'm just lounging around, at home. My latest reads are a mixed genre of everything.  Here are my latest cozy reads that are on my #tbrpile (to be read pile).

P.S. If you're looking for a good read, chances are your local library has tons of great suggestions! Remember, libraries are now social, check their website; and social media pages for a list of recommended reads. Thank me later. 😃

1. Allegedly by Tiffany Jackson- Genre: Teen Fiction
2. Dare to Lead by Brene' Brown- Genre: Business, Leadership, and Vulnerability
3. Joy Seeker by Shannon Kaiser- Genre: Self Care + Self Improvement
4. The Rose That Grew from Concrete by Tupac Shakur- Genre: Poetry
5. Someone We Know by Shari Lapena- Genre: Mystery, Suspense Thriller

What's on your Fall reading list? Let me know if you would like for me to do a book review on any of these titles?

Well-Being: A Better Night's Sleep

Hello, Dolls A good night's sleep is something I've been chasing after for years. Like many people, my nights can be chaotic. Not to mention, I've been suffering with insomnia for years, yes years.     It takes me a while to unwind and fall asleep, and when I finally do, I wake up several times throughout the night. I’ve taken several sleep aids and remedies through the years. I've tried teas, linen sleep sprays, over the counter and prescription aids, and almost every lavender night time product out there. Some were helpful at first, but after a while, I think my body got immune to it. So, I was very curious when Highline Wellness gifted me a bottle of their CBD Night gummies. I was skeptical at first, but they’re really working for me.  The melatonin helps you to fall asleep, and CBD helps you to stay asleep. I’m able to fall asleep faster, and stay asleep longer. An added benefit is I don’t wake up the next morning experiencing grogginess like I’ve felt with ot...

Creme of Nature Lemongrass and Rosemary Leave-In Conditioner Review

After promising myself to take better care of my hair, I read in a hair care magazine that if you have breakage or dry hair (like my hair) to consider purchasing a leave-in conditioner, since you don't have to rinse it out-the conditioner keeps on working and conditioning your hair. This was perfect for me because I'm really lazy when it comes to styling and taking care of my own hair... usually I look for products that are easy and quick to use. I do use Creme of Nature's Detangling shampoo, so I figured I would buy their leave-in conditioner. FYI- Creme of Nature is a brand that specializes in hair care products for women of color, who have natural or relaxed hair. They mostly use natural ingredients in their products, which they call "Certified Organic." Product Claims "Pamper your hair with this creme-based formula to soften, detangle, and provide the ultimate conditioning.  Perfect for color treated hair, organic  Lemongrass works to tone and hig...
