Iโll admit that life gets busy, and it can be hard to take some time for yourself. Here are two self care tips that Iโve been enjoying, and they donโt require a lot of time.
โญ๏ธEnjoy nature: I have to take a ride every weekend (mask worn, and I practice proper social distancing) to get some fresh air. I like to ride to a local beach in my area, sit on the bench, and watch the water. Itโs so calming, and being outside gives me enhanced clarity. I can think clearer. When I canโt do that, a ride out in my car, playing my fave songs is just as relaxing. โฃ

โญ๏ธGratitude Journal: During the month, I write down everything that went well (big and small). At the end of the year, I can look back on everything that went well for me in the year! This helps me to practice gratitude, and appreciate my blessings more. This is helpful when I get an inkling of envy or start comparing myself to someone else. Plus, I have so much more to pray about when I appreciate what I have.
