It's really helped me to expand my wine palate while enlightening me on how wines are made. Even though, I'm apart of a wine club, I still like to partake of other wines. I was happy to find out that Death Row Records Wine released another drop of their limited edition wine duo, California Sparkling and Death Row Records red wine. I'll admit that I was equally shocked and impressed that Death Row Records now has wine. I think that both wines taste good and will bring satisfaction to the most seasoned wine palate.   Hi Dolls, It’s that time of the year when I schedule my annual flu shot. As part of my ongoing well-being journey, I’ve been consistently getting my flu shot annually.   I'm a serious planner, and I rarely do anything last minute or unplanned. Last month, I took a last minute trip to see a friend in Illinois. Believe it or not, that trip was a milestone for me because I always plan my trips down to the last detail. I had so much anxiety about it. I kept thinking about how much money the flight was since I booked last minute, (I kept saying "I pay bill money with this") and how much I was going to have to spend there. Plus, I got sick a few days leading up to it, I just felt like all of these reasons were enough to cancel the trip. I went back and forth in my head about it, and finally, I remembered that traveling (for me) is a form of self care. I also remembered that life is really what you make it.   Hey Dolls! I hope the last few months of 2023 is treating you well! I've been good. I've been trying to maintain and have fun in between my work-life demands. If there's a fun event happening and my pockets can afford it, I'm going! I attended a Styles Brunch last month. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. The Styles Brunch is a luxury plus size fashion brunch. It was held in Baltimore, MD this year.   I attended to meet Atarah (the dynamite hostess), network, eat well, and celebrate style in a luxury setting. My experience exceeded all of my expectations!  From the welcome mimosa, to learning from the elite panel, I felt celebrated, empowered and inspired.  The vibe that I felt from this entire experience was "go where you are celebrated, not tolerated."  It was a joy to be surrounded by beautiful, likeminded women who came together to celebrate one another, style, confidence and positivity!   I took a guided nature tour at Great Falls Park earlier in the month. The beautiful scenery and peaceful atmosphere is captivating. If you love the outdoors or nature, Great Falls is a must see!    Read on for the details and pics! The Deets: The park is located at 9200 Old Dominion Dr. McLean, Va 22102. Admission is $20 per vehicle. An annual pass is $35. Your $20 admission pass is valid for seven days, and it allows you entrance into the Chesapeake and the Ohio Canal National Park. You have the option to choose a guided tour by a Park Ranger, this is a great choice if you want to learn about the history of the park. Hi Dolls, One of the things that I love about warmer weather is getting out more and exploring new places. I was invited to attend a media night held at Musicbox Karaoke Lounge by a friend and fellow content creator.  Watching others sing karaoke is entertaining. At times, I like to sing karaoke myself, so I knew this would be a fun event! I also got the opportunity to meet and mingle with fellow content creators in my area. It was a pleasure conversing with them, they gave me the "push" and motivation to continue creating content. Read on for the deets!  Location Details The lounge is located at 2980 Gallows Rd. Space 30, Falls Church, VA 22042. Parking is free. The lounge is kid friendly from 5-8pm. The hours are Monday-Sunday 5pm-2am.
