Lipgloss of the Month- Black Opal

This month's featured lip gloss that I'm wearing all this week is another product that I stumbled upon while bargain shopping. CVS had their annual 50% and 75% sale off of select cosmetics. I was browsing and I saw a 75% sticker on this gloss from Black Opal and I immediately picked it up.

It's the Tear Drop lip liner and lacquer duo from Black Opal. It normally retails for $6.75. What I love about it- is that it comes with a retractable lip liner and it makes it very convenient for touch ups and you don't have to worry about finding a lip liner that matches.

After wearing it for a while it really lasts a good while. I put it on around 9am and it lasted until I ate it off at lunch time around 3pm, so that's a plus. The only thing I don't like is that it's very sticky, you may need some oil or Vaseline to remove it... but that's a minor issue because the finish is amazing. It gives you a glossy-wet finish!

Mac, Inglot Haul + Swatches

Hey, Glamour Dolls! I'm back with another haul, I surprised myself by buying another haul so soon after the other one, but; I work hard... (shrugs) and I deserve it! Read on to see what I purchased and my thoughts. Click the pics to enlarge. Lippies I've been wanting Up the Amp lipstick for a while as well as Viva Glam Nicki and I'm pleased with the both of them. Up the Amp is a lavender violet color, it reminds me of a softer version of Violetta lipstick from Mac. I'm really not a fan of violet lipsticks (go figure) so, I pair it with a brown lip liner and it mutes the color down perfectly for me. Viva Nicki is gorgeous a beautiful yellow-pink color. I'm going to do a lip of the day, so you all can see how it looks. I've heard that Viva Nicki is going to be around for 1 full year, I'm definitely going to get a few more tubes. One of my most used foundations is the Mac Face and Body liquid foundation. I've been promising a review on it, so here it is. I'm Hitting Pan...Are you?

Yay!!! I'm finally hitting pan on lipstick! For those that don't know, hitting pan means that you've used a product so much that you can start to see the inside pan of the container... in other words-you've used the product so much that you're about to run out of it :) I've hit pan on products before but never lipstick. Mac "O" and Viva Glam VI SE Mac "O" lipstick (purplish-red with golden pearl) which is the first lipstick I ever bought from Mac and Viva Glam VI special edition (blue based pink) are the two lipsticks that I'm hitting pan on. "O" I have had forever (shameful, I know) and Viva Glam VI I've had for a year... I've been wearing it to work every day and now it's almost gone. I love Viva Glam VI...
