I love that Elf is always adding new products to their collection. When I heard that they came up with a makeup setting spray-I had to give it a try and see if it lives up to its claims. Since the spray is only $3, it really was no brainer... to see if this product is a hit or miss, keep reading :-) PRODUCT CLAIMS " Wish you could have a product for your makeup like Hairspray is for your hair? My Winter Beauty Essentials

I'm so late posting this, it's technically spring in my area but we're still having some cold days here and there. I have combination skin on my face (mostly oily) but, in the winter it becomes dry and so does the rest of my body...these are the products that got me through the winter and I'm still using some of them now. LIP BALM I know, lip balm sounds so basic and elementary, but; I really need it in the winter because my lips are even more dry and sometimes chapped because of the cold air. I find myself applying lip balm 3 or 4 times a day, it makes a great conditioner before putting on lipgloss and lipstick. I use Burt's Bees honey lip balm and Soft Lips balm. Both work really well, but Soft Lips has SPF, it tingles and it also makes my lips soft. ROSEBUD SALVE So lotion really doesn't work to well for me in the winter, sometimes it's not moisturizing enough... so, I have to switch to something with a more heavier consistency, that ...

Best Drugstore Beauty Buys

Ahh, the drugstore! It really has become a one stop shop for me for makeup, especially since I've been on a budget. I can always find something at the drugstore when I've forgotten my cosmetic bag and I've even replenished part of my makeup kit at the drugstore. I must browse the makeup aisle every time I visit CVS and Walgreens. Here are a few of my best purchases that are all under $10 each. MILANI I saw a friend with the Milani Infinite liquid eyeliner on, it was this same exact shade. It looked beautiful on her. I bought it for $8 at CVS. The color you see is exactly how it applies, it's very true to color. It glides on easy and it is waterproof, I swatched it on my hand and it doesn't budge. I had to wash my hands a few times before it finally came off. It claims to last 24 hours, the most I've worn is for 10 hours and it stayed on without smudging or fading. YARDLEY I started using natural soap from a company years ago, the com...

Hey, Glamour Dolls It's my first post of the new year! I hope that 2012 is off to a great start for you all :-)  Thanks for the wonderful support in 2011. I hope to bring some new and exciting things on my blog for this year, so; please, please stick with me. I think I've realized that I am now a product junkie and I've added a new exfoliant to my skin care regimen. I bought the St. Ives scrub and I've been using it since the summer. I've heard so many great things about the St. Ives skin care line, so; I didn't hesitate to buy the scrub-especially since it's a blemish control scrub. Here are my thoughts. PRODUCT CLAIMS " Salicylic Acid Acne Medication with 100% Natural Exfoliants •Oil-Free •Exfoliates to Prevent Blemishes and Cleans Pores •Fights blemishes without over-drying •Dermatologist Tested •100% Natural Extracts America's #1 Scrub gently cleans pores and helps stop breakouts before they occur.
