I'm excited that my favorite season is here! I love the warmer weather and outdoor events. I visited Spring Field Manor in Thurmont, Maryland, last weekend to visit the Lavender Fields. The annual Maryland Lavender Festival was held June 13-14th, it was a sold out event. I wasn't able to attend, but I got a ticket to visit the Lavender Fields.
It was such a peaceful experience. I've lived in Maryland for over half of my life and visiting the fields felt like I was transported to another state. The land and views were so captivating. It was nice to spend the day surrounded by lavender blooms, sunshine, and the simple reminder that beauty can be found in the quiet moments.
I felt like this was one of the best resets. It allowed me to step away from the routine, take the scenic route, and allow myself to be fully present. It left me feeling refreshed and inspired. 💜The last few days to view the fields are June 26, June 27 (sold out) and June 28.
💜Admission comes with free parking, lavender lemonade and plenty of outdoor seating.
💜Fridays are trivia night, and Saturday and Sundays feature live music from 2-5pm.
💜There are food truck and vendor options to purchase food and products.
💜Fresh lavender can be picked for $10, lavender plants are available to purchase for $5.
