Dare to Bare, NO Makeup...

Hey Glamour Dolls!

I was inspired by the gorgeous Sabina at Makeup Addict. She did a Dare to Bare, No Makeup post earlier in the year... I finally got up enough nerve to bare my face without any makeup on my blog. Here goes...

It pains me to post this pic but it is what it is... I really only wear a full face of makeup 2 days a week, you would think I would be more comfortable without makeup!

Do you to Dare to Bare?

@ Jennifer: Glowing, really? Thanks girl. Maybe it helped that I just washed my face before I took this pic :)

Well-Being: A Better Night's Sleep

Hello, Dolls A good night's sleep is something I've been chasing after for years. Like many people, my nights can be chaotic. Not to mention, I've been suffering with insomnia for years, yes years.     It takes me a while to unwind and fall asleep, and when I finally do, I wake up several times throughout the night. I’ve taken several sleep aids and remedies through the years. I've tried teas, linen sleep sprays, over the counter and prescription aids, and almost every lavender night time product out there. Some were helpful at first, but after a while, I think my body got immune to it. So, I was very curious when Highline Wellness gifted me a bottle of their CBD Night gummies. I was skeptical at first, but they’re really working for me.  The melatonin helps you to fall asleep, and CBD helps you to stay asleep. I’m able to fall asleep faster, and stay asleep longer. An added benefit is I don’t wake up the next morning experiencing grogginess like I’ve felt with ot...

Creme of Nature Lemongrass and Rosemary Leave-In Conditioner Review

After promising myself to take better care of my hair, I read in a hair care magazine that if you have breakage or dry hair (like my hair) to consider purchasing a leave-in conditioner, since you don't have to rinse it out-the conditioner keeps on working and conditioning your hair. This was perfect for me because I'm really lazy when it comes to styling and taking care of my own hair... usually I look for products that are easy and quick to use. I do use Creme of Nature's Detangling shampoo, so I figured I would buy their leave-in conditioner. FYI- Creme of Nature is a brand that specializes in hair care products for women of color, who have natural or relaxed hair. They mostly use natural ingredients in their products, which they call "Certified Organic." Product Claims "Pamper your hair with this creme-based formula to soften, detangle, and provide the ultimate conditioning.  Perfect for color treated hair, organic  Lemongrass works to tone and hig...
