Cover Girl Brow Draw & Fill Brow Tool Review!

Hello, Dolls

I've been on the search for a new brow product for a while. My favorite brow pencil has been reformulated; and no longer to my liking. It was my holy grail of brow products for years! On the bright side, I've found a good brow pomade; but, not a pencil. I received the Cover Girl Brow Draw & Fill Brow Tool for my consideration. Read below for my thoughts!

Product Description + Benefits
From Cover Girl's website...

"Shaping and defining your brows is officially a breeze with COVERGIRL Easy Breezy Brow Draw and Fill Brow Tool! This innovative two-in-one tool lets you easily shape and define eyebrows to create your own unique style. Using the precise slanted eyebrow pencil, draw and shape fine hairs, then use the soft cushion point on the other end to fill in and blend color into brows. The final touch? Shaping eyebrow powder sets brows in place for a natural looking finish--easy peasy."

Benefits

  • EASY, BREEZY BROWS: Two-in-one tool lets you fill, shape, and define eyebrows
  • RETRACTABLE PENCIL: Slanted tip to outline and define brows
  • CUSTOMIZED COLOR CONTROL: Blend color with the soft cushion point for a natural looking finish; available in 4 shades
  • SET IN PLACE: Shaping brow powder keeps brows from going astray
  • CRUELTY-FREE: COVERGIRL products are Leaping Bunny certified by Cruelty Free International, meaning they’re never tested on animals

Price + Where to Buy?

The price starts at $8.94 and up; it just depends on where you purchase it. The brow tool can be bought anywhere Cover Girl products are sold; mostly all drugstores, and Target, Walmart and Ulta.

Performance

The longevity of this brow tool lasts all day, and every hair stays in place all day. A further benefit is that it doesn't transfer; it stays put! I've used a few brow products that transfer onto my foundation and glide off under heat-this pencil delivers under all temperatures- hot temperatures doesn't make it budge! Some brow pens are too waxy and shiny, which translates into unnatural looking brows. This brow tool gives a natural looking finish. It also deposits a good amount of product, you don't have to keep adding on layers and layers of product unless that's the look you're going for.

I received the color soft brown.

My Thoughts

I like the brow pencil, better than I thought! I've used Cover Girl brow pencils before; and they were good, but the pencil part was flimsy and broke before I could finish the pencil. I've been using Mac Spiked brow pencil for the longest; since they've changed it, I don't like it, or use it as much. I've been searching for something to replace it, on the inexpensive end. I think I finally found a replacement. I really like the ease of using this pencil. I'm really impressed with the natural and stay put finish.

The angle + slanted end really helps you create a shape and arch for your brows, especially if you don't have much of a shape. The slanted end is also sturdy, if you're heavy handed (like me) it doesn't break or snap. I've had this issue using other Cover Girl brow pencils before. Also, the price can't be beat! I didn't have much of a use for the fill in cushion end. I used the draw in end to draw, define and fill. I used the cushion end to soften the brow lines and diffuse the color so it wouldn't be so harsh.

Would I buy/and recommend?

Definitely! Although, I did receive this brow pencil for free, I will definitely be buying it once this one is finished. The performance, ease of use, and price point makes it a no brainer for me!

How I Refurbished my Louis Vuitton Speedy...

I bought an authentic preloved Louis Vuitton Damier Speedy bag a few months back. While I was so excited to finally get the bag and wear it, I realized (at that time of buying and when I received it) that the bag had some wear on it that could use some fixing up. After searching online, I found a blogger,  Lollipuff , who posted an article on how to refurbish LV bags. Based on the recommendations in the post, I used the following products: Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, Blue Magic Metal Polish cream (tube) and Cadillac Boot and Shine leather conditioner. I also used laundry detergent and baby wipes. All of the products used can be used on any bag to spruce it up. Read on for the deets, to see how you can spruce up your handbag! Before At first glance, the bag had some sheen on the exterior. Most of the brass fixtures had green tarnishing (which happens with aging of brass). The leather handles were dull. The bag had lost some of its shape. The inside was the kicker! The red interi

Mac Face and Body Foundation Review

One of my most used foundations is the Mac Face and Body liquid foundation. I've been promising a  review on it, so here it is. Product Claims "A water-based, water-resistant foundation that provides long-lasting, natural coverage for face and/or body. Ideal for all skin types. Face and Body Foundation provides sheer, natural looking coverage in an easy to blend, water-resistant formula. The long-lasting formula is available in a wide range of colours and contains several emollients to help moisturize and condition the skin. It delivers professional looking results that meet the exacting standards of beauty photography and is ideal for perfecting the face and body." Pros -Price is $32.50 retail and about $19 if you're a Mac pro card member (That could be a con based on your finances). -For the price you pay it gives you a lot of foundation. It's in a 4 fl oz bottle. -Because it's water based it doesn't feel heavy, it feels very light on the face.

Creme of Nature Lemongrass and Rosemary Leave-In Conditioner Review

After promising myself to take better care of my hair, I read in a hair care magazine that if you have breakage or dry hair (like my hair) to consider purchasing a leave-in conditioner, since you don't have to rinse it out-the conditioner keeps on working and conditioning your hair. This was perfect for me because I'm really lazy when it comes to styling and taking care of my own hair... usually I look for products that are easy and quick to use. I do use Creme of Nature's Detangling shampoo, so I figured I would buy their leave-in conditioner. FYI- Creme of Nature is a brand that specializes in hair care products for women of color, who have natural or relaxed hair. They mostly use natural ingredients in their products, which they call "Certified Organic." Product Claims "Pamper your hair with this creme-based formula to soften, detangle, and provide the ultimate conditioning.  Perfect for color treated hair, organic  Lemongrass works to tone and hig
