Look of the Day-Green and Brown

GREEN AND BROWN

I did this look last week. I was inspired by my green blouse. Green is my favorite color to use when doing eyeshadow (especially an all green look) because it layers so beautifully and you can always see how each green color blends into the other green color seamlessly.

I used 4 shadows all together. I did a bit of experimenting with contouring and this was my first time using 2 shades of foundation to combat my two-tone skin, which turned out nice, surprisingly. My brows need to be done again, so excuse how they look. I didn't do any close up pics because of acne breakouts, (still struggling with adult acne) agrrh!

What I used:

-Mac Oil Control Lotion

-Mac Face and Body Foundation in C6 on inner part of my face (my skin is 2 different shades)

-Mac Face and Body Foundation in C7 on outter part of my face

-Mac Blotting Powder in Dark

-Mac Format Blush to contour nose and cheeks

-Elf brow kit in Medium

-Mac Rubenesque (golden peach with gold pearl) paint pot as an eye base

-2 green colors from the eye palette (a grass green and darker green)

-Mac Folie (reddish plum-brown) in crease

-Mac Ricepaper (peachy gold with shimmer) as a highlight color

-Mac Engraved Powerpoint pencil for eyeliner

-Sephora mascara

-Mac Kumquat (tangerine) limited edition lip glass

Normally I don't use these many products but I was going out that day so I wanted to do a full face of makeup :)

Mac, Inglot Haul + Swatches

Hey, Glamour Dolls! I'm back with another haul, I surprised myself by buying another haul so soon after the other one, but; I work hard... (shrugs) and I deserve it! Up the Amp is a lavender violet color, it reminds me of a softer version of Violetta lipstick from Mac. I'm really not a fan of violet lipsticks (go figure) so, I pair it with a brown lip liner and it mutes the color down perfectly for me. Viva Nicki is gorgeous a beautiful yellow-pink color. I'm going to do a lip of the day, so you all can see how it looks. I've heard that Viva Nicki is going to be around for 1 full year, I'm definitely going to get a few more tubes. One of my most used foundations is the Mac Face and Body liquid foundation. I've been promising a review on it, so here it is. I'm Hitting Pan...Are you?

Yay!!! I'm finally hitting pan on lipstick! For those that don't know, hitting pan means that you've used a product so much that you can start to see the inside pan of the container... in other words-you've used the product so much that you're about to run out of it :) I've hit pan on products before but never lipstick. Mac "O" and Viva Glam VI SE Mac "O" lipstick (purplish-red with golden pearl) which is the first lipstick I ever bought from Mac and Viva Glam VI special edition (blue based pink) are the two lipsticks that I'm hitting pan on. "O" I have had forever (shameful, I know) and Viva Glam VI I've had for a year... I've been wearing it to work every day and now it's almost gone. I love Viva Glam VI...
