Style Trend that I Love... Skinny Jeans and Heels

I have been loving this trend every since I first saw it. I love the way skinny jeans look, they still show off your shape and can be worn with several styles of shoes. I like skinny jeans paired with boots but I love skinny jeans paired with high heels. It looks so chic. It's a casual look but the heels add glam and can make your outfit dressy.

Unfortunately, as much as I love this style I haven't found the perfect pair of skinny jeans to fit me to my liking. I'm plus sized down bottom and curvy. I've found skinny jeans at a store called the Avenue but they aren't true skinny jeans-they're more of straight leg jeans that fit wonderfully around my waist and hips but they're not tapered at the bottom... they flare out. I want the jeans to fit well around my hips and legs but scrunch and taper around my ankles like the pictures show.

I plan to take a trip to Ashley Stewart and Torrid to try on their skinny jeans and hopefully I can find a pair that is inexpensive and to my liking. We'll see...

Definitely check out Ashley Stewart. I was able to find a cute pair that fit really good and were inexpensive. Also, I got a pair at Rainbow. Good luck on your search, and I love your blog!

Nordstrom has a line called Kut from the Kloth that are very forgiving for all shapes!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE getting skinny jeans from Old Navy. The store sells them up to a size 20 but online they go up to 30.

I'm Hitting Pan...Are you?

Yay!!! I'm finally hitting pan on lipstick! For those that don't know, hitting pan means that you've used a product so much that you can start to see the inside pan of the container... in other words-you've used the product so much that you're about to run out of it :) I've hit pan on products before but never lipstick.  Mac "O" and Viva Glam VI SE  Mac "O" lipstick (purplish-red with golden pearl) which is the first lipstick I ever bought from Mac and Viva Glam VI special edition (blue based pink) are the two lipsticks that I'm hitting pan on.
