I won the Versatile Blogger Award!

My second blog award, hurray!!!!

Here are the rules:

1. Link back to the person who awarded this award to you

Kristina from Krispy Tin Can awarded this to me! Kristina is a wonderful supporter of my blog and so sweet. She's always so kind and pleasant. Please view and support her blog, you won't regret it :)

Thanks again Kristina for the blog award, I'm honored!

2. Share 7 Random things about yourself

1. I love sweet tea and iced coffee, it's normal for me to drink both at least 4 times a week from Mc Donald's and 7-11.

2. I love to read! I read everything I get my hands on and I have read at least 150 books in my lifetime.

3. My ultimate dream job in a dream world is an ambassador for children's rights. I would supply & furnish children their needs all across the globe so there would truly be no child left behind. I have a soft spot for children, I despise seeing them mistreated.

4. I'm a girly girl now but when I was younger I really wanted to be a boy, I hated being a girl back then.

5. I'm dying to go to Los Angelas, never been there but I'm going there one day to visit!

6. Thanks to cruising, I've traveled to all parts of the Caribbean except for the Southern part.

7.  I detest writing but surprisingly I'm a writer of a blog, go figure!

3. Answer the following questions

Name your favorite color: I have several but purple is my absolute fave.

Name your favorite song: So Beautiful by Musiq, Point of it All by Anthony Hamilton, What if a Woman by Joe.

Name your favorite dessert: Cheesecake

What is pissing you off? My finances at the moment, but by the grace of God, I always make it through.

When you’re upset, you? It takes a lot to make me upset but when I get to that point, I listen to music, don't want to see the person or thing that is making me upset for at least a few weeks and they better not dare say anything to me until I calm down.

Your favorite pet: My childhood pet bird, Peetie. He died when I was 4 :(

Black or White? Both

Your biggest fear? Failure and lately success has been my fear, that probably doesn't make sense but can't help the way I feel.

My best feature is: This is hard, my eyes because they're intense but I'm learning to love my lips too.

Everyday attitude” Calm and very poised...

What is perfection: I will never know, at least not in this system.

Guilty pleasure: Real Housewives of Atlanta (can't wait for the new season to start) I love shows with female drama!

4. Award 15 blogs!

I'm awarding this to every reader who has a blog, you're all versatile bloggers!

Los Angeles is a pretty fun city. You have to visit one day. You will own the city if you do go.
Aww, that sounds sweet. I hope you get your dream job. I had always wanted to own an orphanage.
PS I hate writing too :)

@ Girl Rates World: Thanks girl, I will crash any diet over cheesecake. I've been known to forgive people if they buy me a slice of cheesecake...it completely changes my mood.

@Andrea: It's my goal to visit LA by the time I turn 30! I'm glad someone can relate to my biggest fear, a lot of people don't seem to understand it.

@QT: Thanks! I'm glad you liked reading my answers, I was hoping they wouldn't sound boring :)

@KrispyTinCan: Thanks Kristina, I probably won't get that dream job but I'm just going to make sure that if and when I have kids-I'll be the best parent I can be. I would have never known you hate writing, you do it so well!

How I Refurbished my Louis Vuitton Speedy...

I bought an authentic preloved Louis Vuitton Damier Speedy bag a few months back. While I was so excited to finally get the bag and wear it, I realized (at that time of buying and when I received it) that the bag had some wear on it that could use some fixing up. After searching online, I found a blogger,  Lollipuff , who posted an article on how to refurbish LV bags. Based on the recommendations in the post, I used the following products: Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, Blue Magic Metal Polish cream (tube) and Cadillac Boot and Shine leather conditioner. I also used laundry detergent and baby wipes. All of the products used can be used on any bag to spruce it up. Read on for the deets, to see how you can spruce up your handbag! Before At first glance, the bag had some sheen on the exterior. Most of the brass fixtures had green tarnishing (which happens with aging of brass). The leather handles were dull. The bag had lost some of its shape. The inside was the kicker! The red interi

Mac Face and Body Foundation Review

One of my most used foundations is the Mac Face and Body liquid foundation. I've been promising a  review on it, so here it is. Product Claims "A water-based, water-resistant foundation that provides long-lasting, natural coverage for face and/or body. Ideal for all skin types. Face and Body Foundation provides sheer, natural looking coverage in an easy to blend, water-resistant formula. The long-lasting formula is available in a wide range of colours and contains several emollients to help moisturize and condition the skin. It delivers professional looking results that meet the exacting standards of beauty photography and is ideal for perfecting the face and body." Pros -Price is $32.50 retail and about $19 if you're a Mac pro card member (That could be a con based on your finances). -For the price you pay it gives you a lot of foundation. It's in a 4 fl oz bottle. -Because it's water based it doesn't feel heavy, it feels very light on the face.

Creme of Nature Lemongrass and Rosemary Leave-In Conditioner Review

After promising myself to take better care of my hair, I read in a hair care magazine that if you have breakage or dry hair (like my hair) to consider purchasing a leave-in conditioner, since you don't have to rinse it out-the conditioner keeps on working and conditioning your hair. This was perfect for me because I'm really lazy when it comes to styling and taking care of my own hair... usually I look for products that are easy and quick to use. I do use Creme of Nature's Detangling shampoo, so I figured I would buy their leave-in conditioner. FYI- Creme of Nature is a brand that specializes in hair care products for women of color, who have natural or relaxed hair. They mostly use natural ingredients in their products, which they call "Certified Organic." Product Claims "Pamper your hair with this creme-based formula to soften, detangle, and provide the ultimate conditioning.  Perfect for color treated hair, organic  Lemongrass works to tone and hig
