Cocoa from Gettin Cazhmerred tagged me for the lovely blog award...which also happens to be my first blog award. Cocoa is one of my blog sisters. Once you start talking to her, you feel like you've known her for years.

Cocoa's blog features her beautiful and creative FOTD's which are also featured on her You Tube channel. Seven Random Things About Me
1. Besides beauty blogs, I love to read my entertainment and celebrity blogs on a daily basis. I check Mediatakeout, Concreteloop and YBF every day.
2. I have a mild version of OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder). I check things habitually like: my blog, Twitter, my Blackberry, emails, locks on doors (to see if their locked) and I count money over and over again even if I know the amount.
3. I'm a jewelry consultant with Cookie Lee Jewelry. I've been a consultant for 2 years now. I do home shows and I collect catalog orders. I love the jewelry and I like helping woman feel good about themselves... this also helps to boost their self esteem.
4. I work full-time at a public library. I went to school to study to be a Paralegal. I have my certification in Paralegal studies but I'm also working on finishing my AA degree.
5. I have seen every episode of Girlfriends, Golden Girls and I Love Lucy. I love comedy TV and I've always liked the TV shows that feature good friendships :)
6. I collect things just like everyone else I know...I collect designer handbags. I love Coach and Dooney and Bourke bags, I'm also looking at a few Michael Kors bags. I also love to buy lingerie and clutches...I've recently bought some clutches from Ebay, Forever 21 and Charming Charlie's and yes, I wear all of the items that I collect.
7. I love to travel, especially cruises. I'm planning my 5th cruise for this October.

Mac Face and Body Foundation Review

One of my most used foundations is the Mac Face and Body liquid foundation. I've been promising a  review on it, so here it is. Product Claims "A water-based, water-resistant foundation that provides long-lasting, natural coverage for face and/or body. Ideal for all skin types. Face and Body Foundation provides sheer, natural looking coverage in an easy to blend, water-resistant formula. The long-lasting formula is available in a wide range of colours and contains several emollients to help moisturize and condition the skin. It delivers professional looking results that meet the exacting standards of beauty photography and is ideal for perfecting the face and body." Pros -Price is $32.50 retail and about $19 if you're a Mac pro card member (That could be a con based on your finances). -For the price you pay it gives you a lot of foundation. It's in a 4 fl oz bottle. -Because it's water based it doesn't feel heavy, it feels very light on the face. ...

Well-Being: A Better Night's Sleep

Hello, Dolls A good night's sleep is something I've been chasing after for years. Like many people, my nights can be chaotic. Not to mention, I've been suffering with insomnia for years, yes years.     It takes me a while to unwind and fall asleep, and when I finally do, I wake up several times throughout the night. I’ve taken several sleep aids and remedies through the years. I've tried teas, linen sleep sprays, over the counter and prescription aids, and almost every lavender night time product out there. Some were helpful at first, but after a while, I think my body got immune to it. So, I was very curious when Highline Wellness gifted me a bottle of their CBD Night gummies. I was skeptical at first, but they’re really working for me.  The melatonin helps you to fall asleep, and CBD helps you to stay asleep. I’m able to fall asleep faster, and stay asleep longer. An added benefit is I don’t wake up the next morning experiencing grogginess like I’ve felt with ot...

Update & My Current Beauty Faves

Hey, Glamour Dolls! How are you all?! Long time no post...it feels good to finally write something on here. What's been going on with me? Just life. I've been busy and focused on a few things; which has been leaving me drained and given me a lack of desire to do anything else. Things have been all work and no play for a while and I'm finally getting my balance back again (sigh of relief!). Thankfully, I go on vacation in a few weeks. I hope to write a few more posts before I leave :-) As far as beauty news, I have been using products in my own stash-I have bought a few things here and there and I did purchase a big haul from a Mac Pro class I took the beginning of October (more about that in another post). Here are some of my faves that I've been using constantly using since the last time I posted. KISSABLE COUTURE GLOSSES I bought these glosses at The Makeup Show back in May and I've been loving them every since. The glosses are really long wea...
